  • What's the name of the guy that announces the names and medals right before Phelps step on Podium, thx guys

  • I remember the tear wholeheartedly; my heart felt it

  • thats got to be one of the best feelings in the world, standing on top a podium listening to your national anthem as u watch your flag rise to the top

  • Ok sorry but they do not give you the wreath so you take it of for respect. You are supposed to wear it for a sign of victory its not meant to be like a hat that just culturally insensitive...they are still great though...

  • America is the best!!!!! But i love the hole world!!!! One world!

  • Me too WhiteMamba!!!! The world needs all the love it can get seriously.

    :)

  • Do some research before you accuse someone of being narrow minded. While the original anthem itself has only one composer, its subsequent renditions can be copyrighted by the composers who created them from the original template. In this case, however, the chinese rendition of the US anthem is practically identical to that of Breiner and therefore constitutes a copyright violation.

  • it looks like he has a huge dip in

  • I like this version of the US anthem, too. It is the work Peter Breiner who is a Slovakian composer living in Canada. The funny thing is that while the 2004 Olympics were authorized to use his versions of all national anthems, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Committee used them without permission (royalties, etc.), claiming the anthems were the work of Chinese composers. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised after the fake fireworks and the lipsincing little girl scandals.

  • I love that version of the anthem! If I was on top of the podium... which will never happen... I would be bawling.

    And he was only 19.

    I'm good. I'm done.

  • I would definently cry if I heard this on the podium at the olympics

  • @MaryBeth321123 and if you put all that work in to get there, its even better.

  • Had a little pouch in there I bet.

    SMPOST Rocks!

  • FAT LIP ALERT.

    GO SMPOST

  • he isnt dipping.

  • what's dipping?

  • i also wonder what hes dipping, never realized he dipped

    hello to SMPOST

  • wonder what hes dippin

  • 1:24, the best scene ever

  • he is so cute

  • sorry we didnt know about a 15 year old boy, considering he was 19 at athens. And yea, some of us know he was, he did make the 200 butterfly final in 2000. Also, China makes itself look bad by forcing children into "sports schools" where they have no choice over what they make of themselves.

  • You're just a jealous ignorant asshole.

  • wasn't only the US.

    hater

  • wtf he's not ugly :|

kostrousa, hasn't your mummy taught you not to be jealous?
