  • oh and those were made out of steel so they could make bullets in ww2

  • um dude i just bought 300 on ebay for 300 dollars

  • Cuz its not a silver penny you dumb fuck its steel

  • only 1943 COPPER Wheat pennies are worth anything

  • its worth 250k

  • Silver coins ring when dropped. Give these guys a drop test and see what you hear.

  • I have 3 rite here with me, you kid are a fail. stop trying to sell something thats nation wide

  • They are not silver, but they are steel and around 1 billion were made in Philadelphia, Denver, San Fransisco mints. No penny minted for circulation has ever been made of silver. Depending on the condition they are worth 25-50 cents unless you have mint state, proof, or a misprint.

  • i have 9

  • lol 1-150 depending on condition 40 s fake if it was you'd have to be rich to get them first second they made a couple million steel pennies not silver he ripped u off big!

  • No it is 14$ and it maters about how clean it is

  • That's odd.. I have a bucket full

  • no it like 12thou$

  • no it like 5 or 3 cents

  • its worth......10 cents? :P

  • No there not worth anything the 1943 COPPER PENNY is worth the money all others well... just worth 00.1 or a cent

  • 800 or more there are 40 copper or less

  • D 1,OOOOO P100003 S 110000

  • I bought some at the pawn shop for like 50 cents each.

  • if you give me $800 ill sell you mine

  • There is no way there are 40. there is like 902 million and the only rare ones are the copper pennies from that year which there werent supposed to be any they were mad by accident. Also they are not silver they are steel and they will rust so take good care of them

  • There is no way there are 40. there is like 902 million and the only rare ones are the copper pennies from that year which there werent supposed to be any they were mad by accident

  • 902 million steel made.Copper 40 made.

  • There is around 902 million made. But there is only 40 COPPER 1943 pennies in existance. And I have a bunch of them so I doubt that's true.

  • there is about 902 million i dunno, but its pretty accurate

  • So you have 25% of the total population? Dude!

They aren't silver, they are zinc. It is the COPPER 1943 penny you want to own. As for them, there is but a handful.

  • 902 mill. is about accurate they made them all through 1943 at all 3 mints P, S , D

    San Fransico

    Denver

    Philadelphia

Ive been collecting coins for 13 years now and have of 100 steel pennies. They lied to you average price for one in good shape (not registered) 0.79 cents.

  • 902 is about accurate they made them all through 1943 at all 3 mints P, S , D

    San Fransico

    Denver

    Philadelphia

  • I am gonna tell everyone from now on that the 1943 is silver just to have more confusion. STEEl!!!

  • how much did ya pay?

  • the 1943 cents were not made out of silver, they were made out of zinc plated steel, thus the reason why they stick to a magnet.

there are about 40-50 copper 1943 cents made because some dumb ass at the mint did not change the blanks.

sooooo, the 43 steel cent is worth about 11 cents if it is in nice condition and not rusted. BUT the 43 copper cent is worth about 500,000

  • @lafaa1234 great response. . .lol

  • 1,093,838,670 p,d and s

  • the silver ones arent worth shit, sorry kid.theres only 48 copper ones from 1943 because they were made on accident because copper was needed for wepons in ww2

  • 40 copper and who cares how many other ones

  • 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000058 of the cions

  • only 48 copper ones

  • i have a 1943-D silver...the dude who said only 40 should be kicked in the balls...if he has any...

  • that guy told you a bunch of crap!!!

  • they discontiued using copper to conserve during WW2. they went to steel with a zinc protective plating.. so those are not silver. but the rarest ones are the 40 or so that got accidentally minted with regular copper in them( i think?)... however a stash was found in the basement of the grandson of a man who worked in the mints who ,instead of resmelting the bag of wrongly minted copper coins, stole and stashed them in his basement.: the 40 rare turned into 17,000 rare so the price deprecited

  • There made out of steel not copper and copper is more expensive so idk mabey those are worth more

  • Get a red book it says 109,383,670 in total from all mints so i think there is more mthan 40

  • i have 25 so i doudt there is 40

  • there not silver they are steel for one thing and there are millli0ons made!

  • i have one 1919 penny and two 1944 pennsy two and 1946 pennys and two 1942 pennys sowe ya

  • there where about 40 copper pennies. only 12 are known to exist. the ones that u have are worth no more then 15-20 cents

  • there were 40 for the copper ones, but there were about 1 billion silver ones in circulation

  • and there are only 1000 copper ones

  • there is alot of silver ones but if u can find a copper 1943 weat penny its worth 50-70 thousand dollers

  • actually i have heard that now its worth over 100 thousand dollars

  • and no there were an estimate of 40 in circulation but only about 20 have been confirmed to be in cirulation

  • no now there worth 1 million something

  • If they can stick to a magnet they are worth $20,000-$95,000.

  • Error on my part...I meant 903 million

  • Are you referring to the steel 1943 penny? Or the copper struck 1943 penny. In the first case, there's about 9.3 million...so face value is about 40 to 50 cents today. The copper struck pennies are incredibly rare, there were only a few struck...I'd say 100 or less (purely a guess) and have fetched around a million dollars or so.

  • i have a 2008 penny and a 1956 and 1953

  • Any of you u guys no how many 1944 pennies were made

  • I have a 1944 pennyand a 1918 one.

  • i have a penny from 1905

  • there is a bunch of those silver ones but there is only 40 copper ones

  • not worth much, but i do have a 1913s barber quarter. only 40,000 of those made.

  • about a billion including the the mintmark of P,D,and S

  • sprry to bum you out but its not that rare at all there are way more then 40 so the value is low

  • I never heard anything about that?? Was it on the news?? When did it happen??

  • 902 Million

  • they are steel and they're not rare. I have a few. What you might be confused with is the COPPER 1943 penny. Only a small amount of them were minted. These are legends of coin collecting if you will. Put a magnet against it to test it.

  • there are about 1,093,838,670 of them in existance. the most they can possibly be worth are 3.00. I have about 50 of them.

  • they are about 2 dollars no joke

  • Silver-colored, magnetic pennies, like the ones you have, are made of STEEL. There were around a billion of those made. Occasionally you will find one. They are worth a few dollars at most.

The rare one is the 1943 penny that DOES NOT stick to a magnet and is COPPER-colored. They are VERY rare as they were a mistake to even have been made. There are only 40 known COPPER 1943 pennies. They would probably be worth $10,000 or more.

  • i think there worth 100000 dollars each but im not for sher

  • good luck i hope the best or ya

  • i hope they are real and if they are let me know so i know my chances of finding one just became even less possible. but if you get them apraised get multiple opinons, no ofense but you sound young make sure your paretns or someone you trust that is an adult is there to back you up in case some greedy basterd trys some sneaky stuff on ya

  • i only know from what i have seen on youtube here however from what i have heard there are alot of fakes out there. if all of those are real then you probly just became worth a million bucks....you can buy you own country now, assuming the are all real. best thing you can do is et them apraised look up somethig in your local yellow pages but be carefull domnt let someone tell you there fake and take them from you or something, get multiple apraisels
