Thanks for posting this wonderful version! My first contact with this story was in French, in the translation by Prosper Mérimée, then in Pushkin's own Russian, and some years later in English.
I'm not sure, but I think that the harpsichord music in this version was composed by Alexander Griboyedov, better known as a playwright for his comedy "Woe from Wit."
