  • I agree with much of this, save the fact that you say Insulin is good for you in the morning... I fail to see why you ever need high insulin. And promoting Bagels and pancakes for breakfast - give me a break.

    Because it promotes muscles growth and that is good and because you are active at that time in day which controls the insulin well. I don't think he meant to spike it as in the crazy type of spike you get from simple sugars but from more complex carbs instead of simple though as that causes a crash. Simple carbs should be cut out of the diet completely.
