  • It sounds b-e-a-u-tiful!

    Gorgeous truck.

  • @bigmiah5050 y did you switch from the iroks ???

  • size tires?

  • @Jorge50505 36x13.5-17. 36.6 to be exact

  • Nice truck love the black, what size lift and tires is that, can you still slide out the tail on the beach without rolling?

  • I dont like Fords, but that black on black is sick as hell! Nice Work!!

  • i'm a chevy guy, but nice truck real clean good job

  • Damn that is clean. good taste

  • @mtb416 Thanks!

  • I am stuck.

    Just kidding!

  • lol easyer to load bikes like that !! makes the truck lower

  • you have the truck of my dreams!

  • Dude did you say you get 13 to 14 mpg with those tires and lift?

  • @Sotexy2 yep, with 87 octane as well. I take it easy, not to heavy on the throttle. It's a truck and it's not going to be fast.

  • @bigmiah5050 baha i get 20 on 35's in my cummins.. 14 city driving hard.

  • @jmanwild stock wheels and tired and im getting low 20's in town, i drive really slow, and mid 20's on the highway. and if i lay into it i can blow a lil smoke and outrun most stock cars on the road. cummins are simply amazing motors.

  • @Sotexy2 that's a bit hard to believe ))

  • Nice Truck...

    Fords

  • like to see a chevy try that.

  • @supersnot4 lol i hope u dont think thats difficult to do.

  • @offroadkarr no i was just joking about chevy. that's no problem with 4X4. as long as you have the right tires and the right PSI.

  • @supersnot4 lol ok sorry about that. Most people don't understand that the driver has a lot to do with how well your truck does offroad.

  • @offroadkarr yeah big time. but still the truck does make a difference.

  • @supersnot4 it makes some difference. Now obviously I like chevy's, but having a locker in the back makes all the difference in the world. I have an 01 dodge ram prerunner and its 2wd. I can take that anywhere in the dunes with bfg project tires. It's the indian not the arrow. Now I'm not saying that a bmw will do better depending on the driver, but sand is something that you have to learn to drive in. The truck doesn't know how to do that for you.

  • @offroadkarr yeah. that's what i was saying, that the truck makes SOME difference. i love watching inexperienced people try to drive in sand. I just sit there waiting knowing I'm going to have to pull them out. I had an '89 Ford F-250 2wd with a full open diff. that's one truck that simply cannot drive in sand worth a crap. but, my '87 F-250 with a full-floating rear axle just cruises it like pavement. rarely do I even touch the 4X4 knob. and when i do it's usually just for the low range lol.

  • @supersnot4 ya. thats the point I try to get across to people. Most people don't realize the factors that make a truck drive well offroad. I know so many people that lift a truck and can't figure out why I can drive circles around them with a 2wd.

  • @offroadkarr BUT, 4X4 never hurts. especially if you have manually locking hubs lol. I did just fine with a 2wd for a while though. I've been going up to the mountain lately though, so when it snows there, it's nice to be able to go through it, and you really do need 4X4 in the mud I go in.

  • wow thats an amzing truck

  • what kinda lift is it ?suspension lift? how many inches is it bro?

  • @cade038 6" procomp with coilovers. I took the grinder to the inner fender to get rid of some minor rubbing.

  • just making sinkholes for others---knock it off!!

  • nice tires

  • At first I thought this guy was a tool, watching the back end sink into the sand. Then I realized he knew what he was doing! Nice demonstration, that truck rocks in the sand.

  • few questions

    whats your gas economy like?

is this your daily driver and how many miles do you drive a day?

and how often do you fill up?

just wondering cus im getting an f 150 in a week or 2 and saw your truck and pretty much saw my future truck..lol..thanx!!

  • I get about 13-14 mpg. Usually, around 13. I don't daily drive it anymore since my new job requires me to drive 600 miles per week. I have the stock 3.73 gears and my around town mileage would probably go up a bit if i put some 4.56's. My mileage was around 15-16 when i had 35's.

  • thanx bro one last question want to sell me your truck? haha jk

    again awesome truck

  • better traction in wet sand

  • What lift do you have and how much did it cost?

  • procomp stage 2 with coilovers. i believe i paid 2300 or so. But, that was 3 yrs ago. They are cheaper now.

  • iroks are the ish in AK.

  • dude i want your truck

  • nice lookin truck man...

  • i thought it was fxr=no lockers 4x4 = lockers?

  • nice truck i got the same one just stock and mines an extended cab i was wondering how big ur lift is 6in right ?

  • damn sharp looking truck

  • check my vids out not bad video man good job

  • 5 seconds in someone says very faintly "stupid." Whats the difference between the FX4 and the 4x4? I trade reading about it but i think i became even more lose....

  • The fx4 is pretty much the same except it comes with some skid plates and the trim is a little different. Other than that they are the same as a regular 4x4

  • Thanks man. Yeah on my way home i stopped by my local ford dealer and he practically said the same thing you said accept it costs about 3k more and has better suspension sits a little higher but other then that about the same.

  • i think the fx4 always has a tow package too.

  • dont forget limited slip

  • What kind of iroks are those? Sweet truck!

  • @Redshad08 haha iroks are iroks.... only change in size...

  • Comment removed

  • at 1st i was like wtf then to see it pull itself out badass nice truck

  • only ford that was bad

  • Sup dude thats a pretty dope truck, i just bought an 08 fx4 and im trying to do basically everything youve done on yours. So what size of lift and tires do you got on, are those moto metal rims? Anyways hope you can get back at me cuz i need some help!

  • Yes. I could have set it to 8" to fit the iroks, but i chose to trim the fenders instead. I didn't want my cv angles to be messed up.

  • You said you had the 6" procomp on your truck, is that lift adjustable? So can it be set between 6" and 8"?

  • sick looking truck....

    what year????

  • 2005

  • ha nothing like a ford

  • Not a Ford lover..

But i have to admit that yours is a nice looking truck.

    Good job.

  • Thank you kind sir. I luv my truck but if someone else has a nice one. whether it is a chevy dodge, it's sitl a nice truck

  • wow man lol i am jealous nice fx4

  • do you want to sell your truck

  • No. Well, if things get to much worse with the economy, maybe J/C. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time. I've put a lot into it. Just curious, what kind of price were you thinking of? It's a 2005 fx4, leather, and 42,000 mi.

  • hey what lift do you have on that and what size tires... thats a sick truck

  • Thanx. It's a 6" procomp with 36x13.5-17 super swamper iroks. I had to grind off a little off the metal on the inner fender and trimmed the front valance to make them fit. Was pretty easy.

  • FX4 ALL THW WAY

  • FORD the BEST

  • pretty awesome. ford forever.

  • thats one nice f150

  • thanx. Just flowmasters, and i have them cut off right after the muffler.

  • my mudgrapplers also work great in the sand, we always dig our trucks down like that at the beach out by the water. pop is 4 and pull right out. what kind of exhaust are u running, it sounds good.

  • I've got one, but it doesn't look that impressive pulling out sand. It only takes a little tug to get people out.

  • lol nice, wish you woulda got the pulls on tape too!
