I don't know what village. He used to talk about it when I was a kid. His last name is Grewal. I believe their family located to Galib Kalan in Malwa, near the town of Jagraon. I like Malwa, do you know what the word,"Malwa"and "Majha" mean in Punjabi or English? I know that the word,"Doaba" means two rivers, since it spans roughly in between two rivers, cheers

majha stood for people on the other side of bias river and people on that side used to have lot of buffalos(majh) thats y it got da name majha and malwa is on the other side of satluj river and people on that side owned lot of land and weere wealthy(malamal) people thus that area got the name malwa.
