this short film describes the exact situation that our ethnics facing. Ministry of Human Resources should look into this for equal employment opportunity. "Chinese preferred" & Bumiputera prefered" is a open discriminatory against minorities and brings back the colonialism to this country. Bravo to the entire team ! Great Job !

My grandparents suffered the same racism in early Malaysia. My grandfather, a Tamil speaking man, decided he was going to change his family's fate by schooling his children in British schools. The English education afforded my family opportunities that would've passed us by had we stuck to our native tongue. Today I hardly understand a word of Tamil, and my son will probably never speak it either. We shunned our very own culture and language to the point of losing it.

@shakateer - Thanks for your comment, I understand the reality and with this film, you were trying to bring the shock value and make sure something good happens and Tamils / Indians are treated good. I was in Malaysia and visited a poor tamil and he explained me all about the Bhumi putra, Chinese and how the Indians especially how the Tamils are being treated. It is a sad reality but what I was hoping for is - you could have said- I would have become like that but instead I did the right thing.

it does gets to you when you go out to look for a job, they post things like "preferably chinese" or "bumiputera sahaja" or they'll just say, we will consider you. I'm still a student....and I worrying for my future. I did not go to a local university as most of my frens got a course that they didnt opt to do.
