Islam is against all forms of terrorism, also against those people who were behind the 9/11.
How many minute's of silence should there be, where hundred of thousands of innocent people have been killed in iraq and afghan, there where women and children too, it was also an ILLEGAL war stated by the UN, where is the minute silence?????????
True. I will never forget that day. I was at my grandmothers house in NY. And She woke me up and was complaing that she could not get any of her shows. Keep in mind she was 90yrs old. And did not understand what was going on. But my parents were in NJ it was a pretty scary time!
I started a painting when I found out my mother was safe..It took almost a year to finish. the names of every firefighter lost is in the rubble of the trade center painting. -I can quote some names of ones that were lost only because I looked at them for so long. Yes they deserve more than 30 seconds
This video was originally attached to another video by justa11en, titled '9/11 deserves more that 30 seconds of your time'. What happened to your painting? I'd like to hear more. Do you have a video about it?
no video.. a few photos when it was being presented to hang at a fire station. It still hangs there so I may take my camera and put together something
Dobro Jutro Elmir, Sorry if my reply to you made you feel small. That was definitely not my intention. My first impression from your comment was that I am not aware of horrible things that are going on in the world, and all I know is 911. Maybe, you didn't mean it that way, but I got a little angry. I'm over it now. I just wanted to voice my opinion and say,'Yes,I am aware and concerned'. And,trust me,I've been through a lot. Anyway, zelim ti sretna nova godina.
very good, my comment was smart by smart i mean cheeky i rejected one memorial and swept it with other examples which is not fair, it was stupid and ignorant of me. its your dedication fair play. happy new year to you too
if 911 victims deserve more than 30 sec and thats for 3,000 people who have died how many seconds do the 7,000 muslims of srebrenica need?? or the 200,000 tusanmi victims need, or the 6,000,000 jews who died in the holocaust??
Although your comment is your own opinion, and you are entitled, it also got me a little upset. Here's why. Due to my 500 character limit, I will respond in 4 parts. Although there are so many bad things going on in this world today. This video was originally a reply to another video about 911. But, the point is, that it was dedicated to family, friends, and neighbors that lost their lives on 9/11.
A few years ago, I helped put together a fundraiser for tsunami victims here in the USA. The Bishop of Sri Lanka came and gave me and my mother a personal gift to show his gratitude for all the money raised, as well as clothing, food, and other supplies that were donated for the cause.
As far as the holocaust goes, yes, it was a horrible thing. But, my great uncle, who was not Jewish, was killed in the gas chamber. So, once again, I say, there is a lot of bad stuff going on in the world we live in today. So, back to my original point, this video is about 9/11.
Thanks for the response. I took a break, but I have been meaning to ask you to PM me about the idea you had about helping earthquake victims in Peru. Know what I mean?
Well Ashley, you are a little older than my niece and nephews. So, I think you understand it more than they do. There are just some very evil people in the world. And, you just never know what they will do next. By the way, I did not forget about MrJohnnyShrimp, you sneaky little kid. Just thinking about something that you could share with your friends...

Begselmir : I prefer your first comment. I feel it holds merit to take note of.
It's quite simple. Memorials like this are a sheer waste of time and effort. The ones you love are dead? Well, too bad really.
What does grieving over them get you? If they just died...That's somehow understandable.
There's no need to mark the day they died on a calendar. It's a waste of time, pure and simple.

If you would like to speak your mind about what the Serbs did to the Bosnians, please make a video about it. I would love to watch it.

By '30 seconds isn't enough', I was not referring to YouTube time, I was referring to real life...

It was 6 years ago. But it seems more like 2 years ago because it is so fresh in our memory. I hope all the facts come out about the disaster.

Good point. Hopefully the 9/11/01 memorial park that they are building next to the new Freedom Tower will be a worthy tribute to them.

9/11 has had 6 years of my time. I don't think anybody over the age of 6 can get away from it.

100% Agreed. 30 seconds of silence is the LEAST anyone can do to show their respects. 5* Thank you for the response!
