  • Whish you a good life anyway, and, if you got a friend,, call me,, Love your country, And all abouth US,,

  • How much would something like that cost in that condition?

  • @TheHellcat60 around $25k, maybe $30k on a good day

  • @mocus1 i will take it

  • EAT YOUR HEART OUT 57 CHEVY!!!

  • that car could beat a lamborghini on a drag strip while still in neutral lol... seriously it would.

  • [OO===V===OO]

  • @mocus1 sweet sign nice to see some one appreciate old cars like that.

  • '58 Fury is sex on wheels! THANK YOU, John Carpenter & Steven King!

Just think: the car in King's original book version was a 4-door . If they'd gone that route, I just don't think it would have had quite the same impact.

  • @reddsun1 then it would be a Belvedere sport sedan or something?

  • @CherylKimberleylover Not sure, as I'm not terribly familiar with trim levels for Chryslers of that era. AFAIK, when S. King originally wrote the story he made a slight goof in making the car a 4-door, as he didn't know that the "Fury" was a 2-dr-only model, so they changed it for the movie.

  • [oo]===v===[oo] <---to scare bullies

  • @TigerMeet2142 lol, nice

  • @TigerMeet2142 LOL, good graphic!

  • SPOOKY !!!

  • SPOOKY !!!

  • i want a car like that.

  • Shitter.

  • Do Belveder's Have The White Steering Wheel , Or Do The Fury's Have Them???????????

  • @CrumpKid2k I believe the steerring wheel was done that way for the movie. I believe you can have it done that way but I'm sure it was painted that color

  • werent the carb, covers chrome? in the movie and not gold

  • @Mizz1Joker yes, in the movie they were chrome, but in the original factory colors they were gold

  • i dont think the engine sound was coming from this car but the one next to it.

  • How strange to see Christine not chasing and killing all those people :-)

  • Dude, I wouldn't dare to get near that car

  • just saw a christine replica at a car show last night. it was pretty exact even down to the 2 4 carbs. these are always real crowd pleasers. you don't see them much and i would love to have one some day.

  • this is so not christine because the windows arn't pitch black

  • thats not the real christine. who ever agrees with me say i

  • like song

  • he was saying that tha car was doing funny things during tha movie

  • Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love the Sound of the Old V8's

  • Quality, listen to that engine what can you say ?? sweet man sweet.

    Thanks for posting

  • Bad to the bone!

  • What the hell is he saying???? Is that Keith Gordon??? Why can't you add subtitles???

  • I read a whoile back that the only colors the Fury came with in 1958 were a cream yellow color with a white stripe and gold trim (Only the Belvederes came in red with the Iceberg white stripe and chrome trim), so Christine had to be a special order. also, some of the Fury's in the movie were converted Bevlederes, and the Fury didn't come with a column shift like in the movie. only push button autos.

  • nice car bro!

  • Those Camaros over to the left better not get too close. She has a test for them I think.

  • very very beautuful car " Plymouth Fury 1958 Belvedere " Thank you for your video !!!!!!! I like Christine !!!!!

  • No Car today will ever have the class or beauty that has and has brought since Christine movie was made Beautiful car! All that chrome and metal Awesome! Thanks for posting this !

  • Dual Fury engine option 318 Poly Head V-8 2 Carter 4bbl. carbs 290 hp

    2 spd Powerflite Transmission

  • @mocus1 Not the 3 speed TorqueFlite? From my understanding teh Powerflite was in Tower Sixes and the base model 318s in Savoys and what have you.

  • @67bowtieguy Powerflite 2 spd automatic transmission

  • @67bowtieguy the only upper option was the 3-spd Torqueflite automatic trans.

  • Simplesmente é o carro mais bonito de todos os tempos...I love Christine!!! From: Brazil.

  • Think about when Chrysler intro'd "cab-forward" design and the LH sedans back in 1992. If you're a Mopar fan think about how you felt when the Intrepid and siblings hit the road for the first time. Now you know the feeling when Christine's design hit the road in '57! It was their version of cab-fwd. As far as I'm concerned, it still drops jaws 52 years later.

  • It's a beauty

  • 318 Poly Head with 2 Carter 4 bbl carbs. 290 hp

  • Bad ass car but i dont like sitting at a car show all day for a plastic trophy.

  • is that an actual 350 commando or cleverly disguised 318?

  • Go Christine! and Stephen king!

  • The most beautiful car ever made.

  • Carbs are 2 Carter 4 bbls by the way...

  • Yes sir, those are real carbs and they are fully operational, I assure you......the exhaust is 2 Flowmaster mufflers with H-pipe and dual exhaust pipes.......Savoys, Belvederes and Furys all used the same body style......Savoys were plain with a lower panel stripe. Belvederes were the next step up with more chrome and trim, side insert stripe which was aluminum silver. Furys were the top of the line with a gold side insert stripe and all gold trim and tan paint.

  • Beautifully done and you took my breath away...especially when she's idling...what kinda exhaust is that, and are those two real carbs under her hood, and this sound so silly but are both operational...awesome job and how long did it take for you to restore her

  • Beautifully done and you took my breath away...especially when she's idling...what kinda exhaust is that, and are those two real carbs under her hood, and this sound so silly but are both operational...I heard that in the movie the two carbs were just a show off piece because the real 58 Plymouth only had one.....love ya car all the way though

  • you've got to tint the windows like the movie. i don't think it would look one bit tacky. plus i'm sure the po's would cut you a break.

  • I heard from word of mouth that this car was what inspired Cadillac. The Cadillac people saw it in a warehouse before it was to be debuted.

  • wow! you're so lucky to have this car! i'm envious xD!

  • Yes, her radio does work! She also has a more modern AM/FM CD player hidden in the glovebox.....it's activated by a motion detector to scare unsuspecting intruders and give them that real Christine moment!

  • i have the same car but its a clone of christine the radio works with the same cd player and when my nieghbors try to break in the radio plays the song at the beginning

  • Very beautiful car. I have yet to see one in real life. I would do anything to have my picture taken in Christine. Or to even have one. But very beautiful car. Does the radio work in her?

  • I'm not a mopar fan (more of a GM guy) but a '57, '58 plymouth like this clean, straight example is something I'd love to own. Beautiful car.

  • its an exact christine

  • The date was April 2006 and I'll take a huge check for the car thank you!

  • @mocus1 how huge of a check? 40-50k?

  • @Wankachocho

oh come on! look at Hemming's motor news you can find these although rare "wonder why" but you can find them in project form (minumal to a rare no rust) to brand new nut and bolt resto for lower 8,000 to upwards of 20-30,0000 (30,000 is a little high though!)

  • Could you say the exact date of event, and how much do you want for this car?

  • 2. "Not Fade Away" Buddy Holly

  • hey whats the second song m8

  • CQB 241 was a real cali plate

  • well christine was based in hollywood so... any way great car thanks for saving the past

  • @gunny556fly No sir christine in the book was based in libertyville,pa and in the movie she called rockbridge,ca home

  • Hi Arnie! I thought you died, but you and your Christine are still alive! Kidding aside. I think you got one of the nicest "Christines" all over the world.

  • i love the purr of the engine, the look is cool and now iconic of american car culture, id love to have a go in this car one day.

  • I'd like you to show me a Fury that looks like the movie cars. In the Book it was a Fury, but not in the movie.

  • Beautiful car...thank you for the video. I'd say yours is pretty darn close to the movie car.....except for the seat color....

    Thank you for sharing.

  • @mocus1 In the movie they were Savoy's and Belvederes...but just wondering what was the difference between all three...they look identical

  • @mocus1 in the book it was also a 4door, and unfortunately Stephen King had forgot to do his research about the car and talks about putting the shifter lever down into drive ... you know and I know they didnt have shifter lever's unless they were the manual, and pushbutton automatics

  • in the book it was a Fury, but the movie was closer to a Belvedere in character

  • In the book, it was a Fury, but it also refered to Christine having four doors. Fury's never had four doors. They were two-door coupe's. The book describes a Belvedere. I don't think Stephen King put too much research into the car when he wrote the novel. Who cares...a GREAT book anyway!

  • @Kaffyboy actually he did and he said and i quote " I realise a 4 door fury never existed but the name fury just sounds more apt to the direction i am taking with this book so it stuck"

  • @mikeys316 What is good about what King did was bring to everyone's attention this beautiful car, and it's because of him that many Plymouth's were saved and lovingly restored. I know...I've owned two of them.

  • @Kaffyboy I know i myself was in the process of purchasing a belvedere 4 dr. the guy evetually backed out

  • i thought Christine was a plymouth fury?

  • And you were right.

  • yes!!!

  • Of course, tha beautiful and amazing christine was, is ant will be a plymouth fury, best car ever

  • yeah, only 2 doors like Kaffyboy said, and ALL furys was painted in a Pearl White and Gold
