@morejitas It was inevitable for the USSR to be in the war but if US hadn't joined the war, I think UK would have fallen to Germany and the war would have gone on for at least a year longer than it has but the USSR would have won.
@Rodgers2raw12 Germany would have beaten the USSR if it hadn't committed 2 mistakes. 1st being attacking in the Summer, if they attacked in March, they would have achieved more land by the end of the year. Second, if they went for Stalingrad from the start instead for Moscow, at Moscow they exhausted a lot of their military strength, which could have been directed at Stalingrad and cutting Russia off from oil from the South, but since they made those 2 mistakes, USSR victory was inevitable.
@McGrathsChannel Yes, that was their goal, by taking Stalingrad and then a city called "Astrakhan" which was East of Stalingrad, they would cut most of the Soviet Union from the oil and some of the lend lease that was shipped through Iran and Iraq, reducing their ability to use vehicles, also if they took Stalingrad that would be a huge blow to the morale of Soviet troops. It really was the turning point of the war, as each side had a lot at stake.

@Unit987654321 Nah it's still popular trust me, I'm a WW2 reencator for the 101st Airborne and even on the best sites to find origional and economy gear is ALL B.o.B... So I gave up looking for the origional units stuff from the 502nd PIR. 506th will do though, it's apparently popular in reenactments as well.
