They shouldn't be using dogs in that situation. Let's face it half the people in the protest couldn't even spell "peaceful protest" let alone practice it. All EDL supporters that were savaged/bitten by police dogs goaded on by dog handlers should take action against the police and sue for damages,a dog on a lead can only bite if a controller allows it to bite. the police have already paid out hundreds of thousands of pounds in dog bite damages.

@stormseal if the edl or other form of protester went towards the dog in what may look like a dangerous way towards the dog it will attack cause they are trained to do that but its also there nature to defend themselves against attackers. the dogs cant be blamed and neither can the handler because shepherds and other police dogs are strong and could easily get away from the handler. the only person to blame is the person who went towards the dog or was violent towards it

I'd personally take the dog bite. They are trained to bite and hold.

Maybe you'll get a better settlement if you actually stick your arm INTO the dog's mouth.

It might not as be damning in court, but at least it makes the police look bad on the news.

Step foot outside London and the tension in this country is like a knife edge!

The entire country, esp. northern regions are so polarised it's unbelievable!

Any politicians watching this really need to address this issue of diversification!

Most of this problem is the fact that native people to not have a political party to represent them. Creating a new political party, with a leader like Mark Steyn, would go well!
