Amazing playing Alex, you've probably noticed that I'm a huge fan of your videos because I always comment on them hahaha, I have a question. Do you think you could be able to play these types of drum parts with regular chain drive pedals? Does the direct drive system really contribute to your playing and accuracy?

@ShittyMcPoopyBalls Well if you've ever used a direct drive, it takes practically no force to move the pedals. It is so smooth dude. I'm no Alex, but I'm sure it can make a difference in the long run. But you have to keep in mind that he's probably been playing for years.

In regards to the vocal/no vocal issue, i think your vids would be better as an instrumental only so that we can hear, as you said, things clearer. Also a bit off topic but I'm really, really, REALLY looking forward to a new Ordinance album! Keep up the mad skills dude!

No, not everything I upload is quantized. Like I stated, this was an official release - like rezOnanceUK said, these days it's pretty common. I'm not really for or against it, it just is what it is. That's what the producer wanted so that's what was done. In no way do I rely on it.

@klick2destruct Because it sounds perfect, too perfect (for a human anyway). FYI 99.9% of drums are quantised in the metal recording industry. The drums for the album are most likely going to be quantised. I was wondering if this cover was also quantised since it sounds like it could be the studio version of the song.
