Great video! I could listen to that baby wind up all day. My dad had a stripped down GMC 3500 that I learned to drive stick on. How come you do not have to use the split? No load I guess?
No, but the synchros in 2nd are worn, if it ever had any... Lol... I cranked er up last week, and went for a short spin, all vidded, but the card crashed! DARN!!!
366 was not a good engine at our house. Bought several (6) new Chevys and GMC's from 72-78 and most had new motors put in them by 30,000. Used oil terribly. My Dad's personal truck had 3 motors in it under 40,000 miles, not good.
im from venezuela we still use those engines for heavy hauling my dad had a 1978 c70 flat bed with air breaks and a allison transmition but still the good old 366 on it and we were able to carry 12 tons on it of course we had to take it easy up the hill as well as down very nice moments very good trucks not to mention the front end axle of the chevy are the best, im telling u this cause many owner of ford f750 or f600 used to replace the ford front end for a chevy
I have a BIGGER single axle TEERUK, with a 48' boom. It was a 427 gas, but an DD 8.2 Turbo was installed. It's from San Francisco. I'm trying ta sell it... Thx fer lookin', luv the WHINE!!! Ug
