Plus use bubble belts so you can take more than one hit and I was at level 70. If your getting killed just run back up the ramp but don't zone and recast.

@respectthekick07 Yaizmat without a doubt, Omega is #2 for sure, but yaizmat was fuckin pandamonium. If you make enough mistakes, that fight could last an entire day. it took me about 7 hours my first time.

@KillswitchJohn Not really, you just need to get used to it, that's all. It took me until the first boss to get it right and let me give you some advice.
I find it funner to turn gambits off on my main, and select your own attacks when you fight. That's what I do, but you can do whatever.

@redstarsoviet1917 In the North American and PAL versions of FFXII Yiazmat is at an unbelievable 50 million HP compared to Omega's measly 1 million. In the Japanese version he sits at second place with about 10 million. Regardless, Yiazmat is the strongest superboss in the game and has the highest HP count of all the superbosses in the series thus far.

I found this thing a lot stronger than Yazmat (he only has an huge amount of Hp, so the battle is long but not hard, plus you can save during the fight if you want and that makes things even easier).
Give another 49.000.000 of Hp to this boss and we'll see who is lame...
@TUqpUT I didn't use the internet strategy. I just ground FOREVER and found the right combination of GF's that allowed me to give everyone an even spread of important shit. I never used a holy war, and he killed Eden right away haha

i have just started this game and im now 20-30 lvl's high. I have just beated "Monster of jungle" or whatever thats near fran's "home" village i have 2 katana users 2 tanks with hammer and bloodsword 2 mages that heal and cast blizzarda's and protects(other party members heal and cast protects too). Yeah so is there anything i should know about gamestyle? I know that later on you can pretty much change from warrior to mage in instant but yeah..
Just did this fight and it went surprisingly well.
Well at least in that one point where he almost killed ell my main party, but for some reason Omega didn't attack for like 10 seconds, which gave ample time to set up my party again.
But really, this was like the most tense 10 minutes in a boss fight.
he plays a shitload on a single profile? i have everyone to level 99, but half on one playthrough and half on the other. if i'd combined the time i'd be at the same place.
Masamune is the name for the type of sword because Masamune is the crafter who created those types of swords. Gorō Nyūdō Masamune created a great deal of swords, and the ones in the games are modeled after his creations. Sephiroth's sword and the version in XII (along with those in every other FF) are completely different.
On top of that, Sephiroths sword is around 70 inches long, and if you even watch this video for more than 2 seconds, you'll see Vaan's is about half that. -_-
Geez, can't you even take a joke now? I know that Sephiroth's Masamune is way bigger than the one that Vaan has, it also appear on Chrono Trigger(another game of Square) but it's more like a sword than a katana >.>

alright some of u might not believe this but i beat omega with all my characters in their 40's it took me a couple hours and only one try. i did it awhile ago so i cant remember what i had equiped but i used vaan, basch, and ashe and the only person i switched from was balthier.
im feeling stupid cause i went to omega XII and he was curled up..only to find out ealier that you must kill king behemoth and open the yiazmat hunt first before you can actually fight omega, which i didnt kill king behemoth nor opened the yiamat hunt from montblanc yet....aint life grand ._.

i have just started this game and im now 20-30 lvl's high. I have just beated "Monster of jungle" or whatever thats near fran's "home" village i have 2 katana users 2 tanks with hammer and bloodsword 2 mages that heal and cast blizzarda's and protects(other party members heal and cast protects too). Yeah so is there anything i should know about gamestyle? I know that later on you can pretty much change from warrior to mage in instant but yeah..

Just did this fight and it went surprisingly well.
Well at least in that one point where he almost killed ell my main party, but for some reason Omega didn't attack for like 10 seconds, which gave ample time to set up my party again.
But really, this was like the most tense 10 minutes in a boss fight.

he plays a shitload on a single profile? i have everyone to level 99, but half on one playthrough and half on the other. if i'd combined the time i'd be at the same place.

Fail.
Masamune is the name for the type of sword because Masamune is the crafter who created those types of swords. Gorō Nyūdō Masamune created a great deal of swords, and the ones in the games are modeled after his creations. Sephiroth's sword and the version in XII (along with those in every other FF) are completely different.
On top of that, Sephiroths sword is around 70 inches long, and if you even watch this video for more than 2 seconds, you'll see Vaan's is about half that. -_-

Geez, can't you even take a joke now? I know that Sephiroth's Masamune is way bigger than the one that Vaan has, it also appear on Chrono Trigger(another game of Square) but it's more like a sword than a katana >.>

Yes, Omega has EXACTLY 10'370'699 HP. But don't complain, Yiazmat has 50'112'254!!! Plus his attacks are just deadly;/

agreed. yiazmat is pissing me off with its freakin pain atks n 50bars of hp ( i forgot maybe its only 25) n it took me 1hour45mins to half its hp n by that time my mum told me to close the tv cuz its been opened too long....damn
but this vid is epic!!! im now starting with new save file cuz my main one missed alot of chance-based weapons n accessories n im gonna fuck that yiazmat!!!!

alright some of u might not believe this but i beat omega with all my characters in their 40's it took me a couple hours and only one try. i did it awhile ago so i cant remember what i had equiped but i used vaan, basch, and ashe and the only person i switched from was balthier.

u know if u use vanish on ur whole party before u fight him, he won't be able to attack u since he cannot detect u. It worked for me.

im feeling stupid cause i went to omega XII and he was curled up..only to find out ealier that you must kill king behemoth and open the yiazmat hunt first before you can actually fight omega, which i didnt kill king behemoth nor opened the yiamat hunt from montblanc yet....aint life grand ._.
