Nice technique. K.O. with the elbow or hammer fist for sure. For my self defense classes, I personally encourage getting out of an enemy`s line of attack and breaking his balance first before striking (especially for females) just for additional safety... But the new handshake is definitely joining my curriculum!
@BLACKSTAR237 how do ya figure that? A backfist can hurt a lot more than a punch, especially if you have the momentum going, and it wont break your knuckles
This is a sound technique, however whenever you strike someone, in this case a backhand, always check by keeping the other hand up and ready to block any action by the offender.
If one would have good Karma in first place, then that one (with bad karma) would not have gotten wrist grab because he deserve it (maybe that man with bad karma, grab his wife [now ex wife] arm and beat her in the another life).
But hey, that was totally funny, dig it. I'm sending this to my bros, because we need a new hand shake.
Excellent- Many instructors I have met say the best thing in a same-side-wrist-grab is step in and hit. Eh-could be- but this kind stuff one NEEDS to know. Just like one must know how to get out of headlocks. Which...I am sure you show...
That is a ryu kyu kempo tuite technique, it is also used in aiki jiu jitsu and aikido, great technique, i know this because i have my black belt in kempo, tuite-jitsu and kyusho-jitsu under grandmaster taika oyata and master stuart also, i am in my 41 years in the martial arts, this technique you demonstrated does work, great job, the middle finger and the thumb is indeed the weak grip points and using your body to move in is key using a seisan stance step in, again, great job but add a strike
@4xlrner Glad you liked it. Will be putting out at least 3 more episodes this month, so please keep an eye out. Glad you liked HHI as well! I haven't actually seen the show myself yet (will have to wait till I get the DVD in the mail!) but I love the place we got. So far so good!
thank you nice man

"How to defeat dudes"
I looked at the thumbnail and it seemed like the key to defeating dudes is to fist them.

Probably the other hand will hit you in the face as you move in but with a pivot it could be more effective.
