  • Great lesson. Really appreciate the explanations/illustrations of the strumming patterns which many online guitar teachers just don't seem to bother with. Keep it up, mate!

  • Awesome.

  • What a novel instructional approach. And, I might add, very well executed!

  • LOVESTORY BETWEEN MY CATS!

    WATCH THIS: /watch?v=079HHPNzQXE

  • Nice lesson.. I am a beginner.. the part switching from C to Bm is too hard :(

  • Thanks and yes that is tricky, just keep practicing and you will get there eventually!!

  • @educationalmaterials good lesson. Just thought I'd let you know that when Peter Buck plays this he plays the C in the chorus's as a C is in the 3rd position (x3555x). In the intro/verses he still does the C (x32010). It's a small change, but its more legit.

  • @narrowhell You could play the C as a Barre chord, wouldn't have to switch betweenm open an barre then

  • you are an awesome teacher my friend you have single-handedly taught me 30 songs

  • Thanks, much appreciated only about another 40 songs to go :)

  • Brilliant lesson really well explained THANK YOU

  • No problem, thanks for the comment

  • Alvin, thanks again 4 another great video, i know u may be busy but, can I request songs? It is just id like to learn some specific hard songs to me, and cannot find tutorial for them.

Hope u reply and thank u again

  • Thanks again and it's still James not Alvin. Sorry I don't have time to learn new songs, barely have time to record the ones I know.

  • Nice lesson .Good explained.

Little difficult for the chorus with the Bm bar chord.

I tried the B sus and it sound nice too and easier to play .

  • Thanks and yes go with whatever you find easier/sounds better to you

  • Thanks for this great lesson!

  • No problem!!

  • allright, i ll try that..

    thanks

  • Hi, great lesson again!

But one question, is there somekind of structure how to put a fast barchord (Bm)

because I have a little break when playing the chorus. (like first 2nd finger then 3th en 4th en then the bar or do i have to practice more and more :) )

    thanks anyway

  • Thanks, I am assuming you mean you stop when changing to the Bm, the easiest way to over come that (apart from practice) is to move your fingers together rather than seperately.

  • i´m satisfied.

  • Then I'm satisfied that you are satisified

  • cheers mate... been waiting on this one a while
