always loved this song by bob. never heard of this band except chris hillman. they're sure a killin' band, i especially love "one step forward".
anyway it seems very stupid to me to criticize people who are appreciated by your favorite band, i mean, bob dylan is the best songwriter to ever walk this planet and i think every country band has learnt at least a little from legends like dylan and cash just to mention the most famous
too bad, she can go and listen to the Eagles re-hash old songs like "How Long" that the original lineup sounded waaaay better on - so did Souther-HILLMAN-and Furay.
Sumner if you want to talk about re-treads and manure go talk about Frey and Henley...
The Byrds grew up and got famous singing Dylan tunes, besides their own great songs. In his solo career Hillman recorded several Dylan covers as well (Mr. Tambourine man, Tomorrow is a long time) so it's natural that on some DRB shows a Dylan song would appear.
If SummerMurrayRedstone doesn't like it...too bad. Thankfully Mr. Hillman still likes to sing some tunes from one of the best (if not THE best) songwriters of all time.
Being that disrespectful only shows the kind of people you are.

Lowest possible rating. DRB can please play their own shit. They don't need to do a dumb-arse cover of a fucktard sleaze like ROBERT FUCKING ZIMMERMAN.
Chris Hillman played on the Byrds' original version.

David, do you have a date for this one? Thanks for adding it.

I dont recall exactly, but judging by its position in my collection, I would guess it to date from the late 80's.
