Even though this is a cover and most think that INXS version is better i will agree with that especially since they use the sax and this one uses a guitar. That being said give credit when credit is due. This is an excellent cover and if Joe had done it originally it would have been a hit. Problem is there is no venue for Joe Cocker or any Classic rock artist in today world. FM rock stations use to be the venue but those are disappearing every day to the crap being recored today. just my opinion

That is the ultimate complement to an artists is that someone that is better than you thinks enought of your music to want to record it. And the law comment is just stupid. Dude.this version is a bit diferent, just because joe cocker sings it in his own way, which is the Blues way, when INXS, being more agressive in their performance, sings it in the "Alternative Rock and New Wave" way, kinda.there's a big diference between INXS and Joe Cocker just because the style is completly diferent.Both versions are very good because they're so diferent, and you have all the right to think that INXS is better because all of us have the freedom to consider think and apreciate.

I think that both versions have pros and cons. To tell the truth, I favor INXS just because Hutchence's voice is so much smoother. Cocker's just a bit to rough. Other than that, music is EXACTLY the same
