  • It's important to use a vasoline type lubricant on the underside of the ridge that way the the front half doesn't fuse to the back half. Then its simply a matter of separating the two. The removal of the shell was not filmed because it took everyone in the room to get it off. It's not just a matter of force, but a bit of finesse as well.
