Truly rare are those gems which contemporary trance has brought into this world. What we mostly get are replicas of same old simple dull rhythmics, reused harmonies and song structures. Compared to achievements of the early 90s like e.g. Humate remix of Paraglide, trance has grown pale and weak, hiding behind fancy effects.

This is one of those gems. Assorted Trance vol. 9 by DJ Irish starts by this and is followed by another one of the true rare gems, 2 Players - Signet (Leama & Moor remix).

to us, they still sound the same, divine and genuine. world, on the other hand, took such a different and questionably fair shape during last decade. these songs will never be played for real anywhere, anytime again.
