I flew Continental in my uniform once and they bumped me to first class, the captain came back and we sat there talking and bullshitting and the flight attendents gave me all the free beer I wanted. It was totally cool.

I remeber being on a 747 flight from LA to Tapai and got a tour of the cockpit. It was pretty amazing but I didn't think to much of it then. Man I wish I could get inside one of those again. Pretty neat. To bad their alot strickter now.

They used too But now there is for 2 reasons If a terriost is onboard they can just strom Though the cockpit and and 2 there was a crash a couple years ago when A child hit the de-ice system And the plane didnt to be de-iced and it was hot then in mid air Boom the plane blows up and it got so hot and the heat from the air made the plane overheat and boom And the piolts didnt even know that the de-iced sytem was on

@8aviator8 its a 700 ;) look at the mcp... the 600 and 700 do have the old one with orange numbers. the 800 and 900 do have white numbers and the whole mcp layout is different. :)

@Phil1480 there are some 800s that do have the old honeywell MCP. The new Collins MCPs are the ones with the white numbers. The easiest way to tell the difference is to look on the air conditioning panel on the overhead. 700s have no left Recirc Fan, 800s have a right and a left. And Delta flies with 800s.
