@rsbills309 Did you download a the file & it says .rar or .zip??? If so you need to rename it .ipsw instead of .rar or .zip

@SgtImpacto i did you know the lago piece not puzzle lago and also the download is called ipod4,1_4.3.38j2_restore.zip and its in a compressed (zipped) folder

@rsbills309 Got no idea then coz thats how you it should work, its a zipped up file & basically what you need to do is rename the file or the end part from .zip to ".ipsw" just renaming the end part...keep everything else the same!!! :)

hey!did everything as said and i followed instructions, i have a 4.3 baseband and everything was working fine until i tried to open cydia and it just crashed!i used a 4.3 ISPW with this jailbreak and im wondering is it because i used a 4.3 and not 4.3.1?i understand its untethered so i dont need to use ibooty, so im confused at why my cydia is crashing?help please!

@leahxxadams You need to load redsn0w with the smae ipsw that is running on your device.If you did then make sure you are connected to the internet, configure your 3G settings or connect to wifi & try rebooting your device

Did u try opening redsnow as administrator, also try changing comparability to xp.

Also if it get stuck on ramdisk just reformat with iTunes and try again.

If i run as admin 98/ME on my win7 I get error: Unexpected parameter 'redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc9/redsn0w.­exe', followed by the cmd help message. If I run as XP SP3 it works just fine

@tor8aar i dont have windows 7 so i wouldnt know, i have vista & it has been known that changeing compatability fixes errors.
