@kunjidee i wouldnt say they were directly responsible, rather indirectly, and perhaps there are underlying issues into why that actually happened, were they forced perhaps? You and I dont know enough... However it still stands that yes financing the nazi war efforts was probably a bad idea, as yes as you said they could be part-responsible, but still it was the Nazi's that did it, without them, the swiss wouldnt have contributed !

@kunjidee yeh but at the end of the day, if you were controlling your country and russian sized army was sitting on your borders, and you had a few hundred men, would you sacrifice them inevitably to see your country under rule anyway? @kunjidee Well, it's quite simple really... You are proposing that Jewish people have their own land somewhere else, where presumably other people already live. Why? Can't you see the irony of this? As Jewish is not a nationality why do they require their separate area to live etc This is why I said what I said, which you superficially dismiss. Also, the people of England, Germany Italy were not responsible for what you say, do not go to war or make decisions. The State send workers' to war etc

These aren't situations which have always existed, that is to say they do not have to continue to exist in this way...if you start looking into the nature and character of these problems then you will have a more (intellectually) honest view. Furthermore england encouraged segregation in 1923, Britain gave the Golan Heights to the French Mandate of Syria. Jews were also barred from living there. Jewish settlers on the Golan Heights were forced to abandon their homes and relocate inside the westerb area of the British Mandate.
