Hair Routine!! Middle Part, Long Hair!

but I have a question, my hair is naturally straight, and while I part it down the middle it literally PASTES onto my scalp because its so flat! How can I change this without chemicals?

I've been trying to grow out my hair for a while now and it seems to be the same length for a year already.

I quit blow drying and straightening my hair(after every wash, I do but very rarely) for over a year and there seems to be no change.

i heard that if you use any kind of oil on your hair before using heat it can deep fry your hair :S maybe use it after you straighten instead?

@PurplePlanet01 It depends on how hot she sets the dryer which very few go to that high of heat to damage at that level. She also uses a heat protecting product which nearly eliminates the chances even higher and she straightens her hair so you don't want to put direct heat like that on the oil. She did it fine.

the nice smell means that the argan oil has been processed and hence less effective. the natural scent is what you would want for better results.

hey, nic vid, but i reccomend putting the argan oil in after u finish heat, and put a tiny but less. because when u put oil them heat, u are butning some of the oil that u put if it has not completely soaked in which is both bad for ur hair and that ur not getting the most out of ur product.

My hair does not grow! I was it every other day, blow dry, and straighten. I deep condition all the time and saturate my hair with heat protectant. Right now it's only a little past my shoulders which is so frustrating. I know hair doesn't grow over night, but my hair hasn't grown for like two years. Your hair looks fantastic, Erin! The only thing I have to say is about the Joico K-Pak shampoo. One of the ingredients is sodium laureth sulfate which is what gives shampoos that bubbly lather we love. It often strips the moisture out of your hair and makes it limp and thin. If you really like it and don't mind then that's fine, but otherwise I would recommend finding another shampoo without sls. Sls is a powder that is very cheap, so the profits for the company will be greater.
