  • wow your koi fishes colours are wonderful i have small koi fishes because im still growing them they seem to be scared whenever i feed them do you have any advice?

  • I have found you don't find the really nice colours in the baby ones, them seem to stash them away until they grow up. Which sucks..

  • How did you build your pond, I must know!? Also, you have such great koi I think that some of them could be grand champions! What do you feed your them? If you breed them, you could have quite some money in no time, good luck!

  • how do you protect them against predators? I was thinking about making my own pond but I'm afraid that if I leave smaller ones out there that they will get eaten or get really hurt because I've seen it happen to several other people.

  • some nice big showa`s ther

  • wow, thats beautiful man

  • Very pretty!

  • something about watching koi swim around feels very relaxing

  • How do you keep the predators out?

  • Awesome !!!

  • what a beauitful relaxing video ^.^

  • this is the best ever youtube video of kois

  • i think they are hungry

  • nice fish indeed

  • @MegaPlanelover your questions are signs of stupidity. Where do you think the koi is located, "in his/her neighbors house? hahaha

and the second question is so terrible. YOur such a loser. A koi pond is for koi, not for swimming. lol moron

  • lovely koi fishes.i had koi last time before i had rocky (my pet oscar fish).they were so lovely and nice.too bad all of them died because of the brainless electrican who repaired the oxygen filter wrongly.was really very sad when mum came to my room and told all my fishes had died

  • this video fucking sucked... i wanted you to touch them and stuff... they are like water dogs

  • nice..thanks for sharing...

  • @sandj912

i'm no expert, but as i know, white and black is shiro bekko

red, white and block is either sanke or showa (i have no idea how to differentiate them)

  • These fish can live for decades if given proper care. In Japan, 70-year old koi are common and there have been reports of a few exceptional koi reaching over 200 years of age..

  • @louthesz9

but how long would it take to grow to around 45cm long with enough food and proper care?

  • @shuwukong

Just feed them enough food they can digest in 5 mins. and feed them twice a day, in the morning and evening. Good filtration is a must. Withing 3 years, you can expect koi to grow to 18 in.. or more

  • nice video..thanks for sharing...

just to share the little that i think i know....b&w can be shiro utsuri or bekko i think...pure orange and black is hi utsuri, showa is red/orange, white & blck with black on the head while sanke is same color w no black on the head ....

  • what do they eat. I have a Angel Koi, A Angel fish the color of Koi

  • how much it cost u to make a pound? and what kind of habitat do they live in? i live in toronto and it snows here.... so what can i do?

  • they like warm water like 70-85 and my pond (not including the pump filter and so on...) was 180 us dollars and i keep it in my room... its about 200 gal. so yeah i highly suggest a heater for your pond and keep it coverd in the winter or just keep it in the home and use a preformed pond using brickes to support it. koi fish price is from 10$ to 3,000$ mine were about 80 because they were only about a foot long... hoped i hellped

  • best kois i have ever seen in youtube

  • wow, u got some nice quality kois in there...beauty all the way

  • nice koi

  • I've been through countless koi videos and yours is my most favorite. You have so many genuinely beautiful varieties, such clear water, healthy and contented looking fish. This video moved me to feel such serenity it was almost as good as being there in person with them. Thank you so much for sharing this with those of us who love, but don't own koi.

  • do you know if you can keep koi in a fish tank?

  • Not a good idea.

i assure you it wouldn't work out and its not natural for the fish.

  • you can have a koi in a fish tank, but it's not as good for them as it would be if they were in a pond. Baby koi fish would be okay, but after they hit seven inches you should put them in a pond.

  • alrite thanks. NOW IM ALMOST 12!!! (nov6) Next spring im gonna build a koi pond with my dad. Its gonna be so kewl.

  • what kohaku and utsuri means? is it like a name for a certain color pattern? i went to a koi farm and saw a really seriously big koi. when it saw me it begged for food and open its mouth really large,i swear i can put my fist in its mouth if i try, it so huge. such adorable creatures

  • Hi there. Kohaku are red and white fish. The term Inazuma means 'lightning strike' and it refers to the zig zagging 'hi' or red on a white fish. Utsuri are a sub class of the Showa group. These fish have stripes of colour on a black body, whereas Sanke have spots. A utsuri with white is called Shiro Utsuri, these look like little Killer wales. My own mum has just lost her Hi Utsuri which she called Tiger because it had the red stripes on a black body. Hope this is of some help to you.

  • Lovely kohaku

  • lol nice. I just got my first fish tank *im only 11* i love taking care of fish. i also want to get one of those cheap $5.00 koi from petsmart. But wow! your koi are just beautiful. I wish i knew your secret to fresh water and alage free water too.

  • Fantastic Koi... very nice Kohaku and Shiro Utsuri... lovely Kin Ki Utsuri as well... would be nice to see the pond as a whole to appriciate the set-up and setting...

  • so gorgeous! well kept too i enjoy the fact your water is so clear. If you dont mind im doing a paper for school on them and im asking a poll question to people. How fast on average would you say your Koi grow?

  • beautiful koi, must've cost alot.

how do you keep the water so clear, how do you control algae growth?!!

  • ah theyre so beautiful

  • wow cool man :)

  • Nice Collection!

  • nice koi :D

  • wow. so cool.

  • I love Koi, they move very gracefully... they look like they've been painted especially in such angelic ways... Koi Rock

    love them

  • fuck yeah.. they cost like 2.000.00 each one in a medium size.. a real big one is around 2.500.00 or 3.000.00 dollars each one..^_^

  • whos collection is this>?

  • Hey, I love these Koi! I have 2 of my own. A Kohaku and a Showa. But, they're only babies yet. Still real small fish. I do have them in a 10 gallon tank. They won't be really really big and worth alot, right? Only if I make a pond? Can someone help me with this?

  • hey blurdamonalbarn, i think if you want a koi to grow to the size of what you saw on the video clip, you have to have a pond for it to grow because that 10 gallons tank won't be big enough for it to grow big, im guessing if you're lucky enough your koi might grow to 6 inches max in that 10 gallons tank.

  • Thank you for this imformation. And yeah, that's what I've guessed. But, I don't have to worry about it anymore. See, my Koi fish died no long ago. I now only have 2 goldfish left which seem to be getting bigger and bigger. But thank you for this information.

  • does kios cost alot of money? my aunt has a pond they made outside and they have millions of kios but it doesnt matter there rich

  • this is the most beautiful collection i've ever seen. now i know why shiro utsuris are so expensive. and there's a jumbo kohaku and showa that's grandchampion quality. how I wish this was my pond...

  • Hey everyone ,i m only 14 and i have a koi fry.i need some advice abt my koi.i dont have a aquarium however i keep my koi in ice cream tub u may think its cruel but my koi seem happy and even eats from my fingertips but im still not sure is my koi under stress.Another is ive been keeping im for over 2 months now
