this video is great but i hate how complex cata is. i feel so discouraged to do these heroic zul's. i feel like you need to watch alot of videos over and over and have the whole place down before even doing it. im not saying that all the dungeons should be tank n spank but idk, i just wish i didn't have to be a guru to just play some of these, and i tank so i feel more discouraged cuz if i mess up than everyone is pissed at me :(

@XchucksteakX Completely agree. Blizz has to cater to a variety of preferences, skills and so on, but to me this really should have had a normal mode as well. That would have people like you and I an easier option to get the hang of before moving on to the heroic mode. I've done ZA and ZG once each (I was totally carried by the others), but won't do it again until they make it a bit easier.

@Somethingalready Fake it till ya make it my friend, I JUST completed my first ZG run a few minutes ago (this video seems accurate still btw) and didnt tell them a damn thing. Had maybe 3-4 deaths outside of the mandokir fight (I was the healer, holy priest) whole run, no wipes. Also no drops for me, grrrr.

Is it just the fact that I'm now better geared than before or has this dungeon been nerfed a lot? Every time I tank this dungeon the only time someone dies is at Mandokir (which doesn't really count), the wall of masks breathing fire, at Zanzil when one of us doesn't know what the hell to do, and when the dps don't stand around the chains at Jindo.

I think there is 4 different boss in Cache of Madness. They appear randomly. Only you need to have someone with high enough archeology to summon the boss. :P

Would'nt Zul'Aman be better suited for the Dynasty Warrior theme? The last boss Darkaara kinda looks like Lu Bu in Dw6 with the armor. Just wthout the headpiece and uses an axe rather than the Helberd.

The cauldron doesn't get rid of the gas, but it gives you resistance to poison :) and everyone should use it

To anyone who is afraid of this dungeon, don't be. I am not saying this as some elitist who thinks these are easy. Well all dungeons are easy if you know the tacts but after knowing the tacts for this one, this is one of the most enjoyable dungeons with cool gimmicks. :P I ran it first time few days ago and I absolutely loved it. And we only had one wipe, with Zanzil. xD And Jin'do the Godbreaker (or Pugbreaker) wasn't even hard, you just need to pay little attention. :3

I hated pugging the laast boss. No one knows how to do it. They always have a ranged kite ALL the adds and as a hunter that was always my job. It was the biggest pain cause it just waant possible. Priority to most is

The frozen mobs do count as... well, frozen, which means that Frost Mages will be hitting harder due to mastery and with triple crit rate due to shatter.

nah u just keep rip n earth sheild on tank n spam healing wave, its really low mana cost n its a fast cast so spamming it = good. n if u need u should try to use chain heal rather then healing rain to save on mana. this guy was blowing through his bar

Thanks for the great guide...really helped out. I was doing well in ZG in my first pug based on listening to your tips and got all the way to the final boss and messed up a bit with my placement for the chain-shield busting and got rage-booted. Sometimes players just have no tolerance for someone who's learning...just sucked that I contributed significantly the whole way and messed up on the final boss and got booted, getting no Valor Points for my efforts. But that's virtual life ain't it?
