@TFengineer I hate to tell you this but Toby got killed by a wild animal. A couple weeks ago. I got my AK47 loaded and ready! ANY wild anything or any wild dogs come here and their going to pay! Thnaks for the nice comment though....I know you meant well..=)
Oh no that sucks to hear! I really like cats and to hear your cat was taken down like that makes me sad, really. I'm sorry about your loss and sorry if I brought up any memories of the incident. In regards to the AK47, packin' some 7.62 rounds should scare away any (fill in the blank). Did you build the AK or is it a store bought complete gun?
@TFengineer Thanks for your comment! I really loved that cat! He had a really great personality. I bought my ak from a friend of mine that had about 500 of them! and all kinds of crazy stuff but got
busted and lost them all. I got mine way before all that though.
Cool dude. Sucks to hear about your friend's situation. I've never shot an AK but my trusty AR-15 which I built (easy to do) is fun to shoot at the range. I like your videos so keep them coming when you get time. I need to get me a kitty too. I see a lot of little bunnies on my property but I don't have the heart to shoot them. They eat my fruit trees so I have a reason to but instead I put some chicken wire around the base of all my trees to keep the rabbits from gnawing on them.
I won't be shooting them. I can't shoot guns on my property anyway, I'm kinda in the city still. I need to send a message some how though. So far, the chicken wire around the base of the trees will do the trick I think. I wonder what they do in wet weather, like right now when it's pouring outside?
That's a really good idea! I was thinking pellet gun but that can be deadly too plus you have to deal with the mess afterward. Paintball gun, great solution and not very loud either. As for the house, are you suggesting keeping them trapped?
Nice. What is the advantage of tumbling? Is tumbling necessary? I live in south Texas where heat and bugs are in no short supply, so can i just make a pile on the ground? Thanks.
Couldnt u just put it in a drum like yours and just water it every now and then and put like plastic or something on top of it ... etc etc..??? of like your tomato plants and everything out of the garden????0.......
@london1817 Wow you must live near the woods? Where are you located what state I understand if you don't want to disclose your exzact location.I am in arkansas.I would love the country but i don't think I would love being where i had to watch all the time in danger of a bear attack or anything Noway for me.
@arkansastrash320 Where I live.... behind our house is miles of nothing but woods...kinda nice..but sometimes
I hear stuff....one time I swore I saw the big foot & heard him scream!! nobody believed me! not even my wife. Sometimes I get kinda freaked out while riding my 4 wheeler way out there. I have had pets MANGLED with no explaination...I leave no dogs or cats out...here in North Carolina.
@london1817 WOW man I would be moved before the sun went down! Not that i am real firm on believeing in bigfoot. But arkansas has the foulk monster. They made a movie called ledgend of boggy creek about it.I could never get comfortable out there.Have you ever watched monster questit came on the history chanell. From what i watched bigfoots have been seen in just about every state florida arkansas oklahoma texas lousiana every where.I am sure you state was not left out.Be carefull at night man..
@arkansastrash320 Its not so bad..its just the bears and giant panther cats..I am constantly shooting coons and oposums off my property..one good thing giant deer fill the freezer! I seen the legend of boggy creek & part 2...it was awesome!...i have never seen monster questit but I will keep a keen eye out for it......another thing my neigbor has shot more than 40 wild dogs he claims! with rabbies.
I've watched a couple of your videos and find them SO easy to follow. Great projects to encourage my grandson to learn to think green with and to green my gardens :) Thanks so much for posting these.
Just found your guy's videos today when looking for some rainbarrel ideas. Huge thanks for taking the time to make them, posting, and sharing...this is going to be a huge help to me as I start to build out my garden and try to keep things inexpensive and yet friendly to the environment. It's much appreciated!
It's getting increasingly harder for me to pass up "blackgold supplies" I see setting on the roadside by people's trash; most recenlty 4 large clear bags of leaves.... headed grocery shopping and didn't have the trunk room for it. If you do get grass clippings from neighbors, make sure they're not covered in chemicals you wouldn't want to compost and feed to your organic garden.
i put a screen mesh in one side of mine, so when the dirt get fine enough to make it through the mesh, you can harvest it....no need to dig into the barrel...ever.
@london1817 honestly..i probably wouldnt do it taht way again, cuz you eventually loose all the dirt if you turn it enough. what i want to do next time, is drill 1/4 inch holes in one end of the barrel, that way when you are compostign you can till it one way slightly and the compost wont come out, then when you need compost you can tilt it the other way and the proper sized compost will come out of the holes you drilled...the trick is to keep enough compost in to keep the process going
Its nothing complicated!! I just made an "x" for both sides. Then just kinda put the bottoms on 2x4's. the rest are braces for the weight. If I can do it......you can do it......Rick.
"All I need to do is run faster than you." ROFLMAO
