Here's the difference between Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica. Metallica had a good sound when they started, they slowly got worse and worse. They don't sound at all live like they do on the record, they sound way worse. Avenged Sevenfold sounded good when they started and sounds awesome still. They have stayed awesome. They sound better live than they do on the album. While Metallica may have been the masters before, they are not that anymore.
