I think it's allowing you to see how the individual dance and how the group dance. It's a dance version anyway. It probably makes it easier to pick up the dance routine. Though it's quite irritating.

Does anyone else notice the camera styling of this video just consists of the camera doing a pendulum type effect of zooming in and out and that's it. The whole video the camera does nothing else... no side scrolling, no individualizing of the girls faces or different angles - just back and forth. Love the song; love the dance routine, just lazy filming to me. This is lay person's observation too btw.

@Antwonm2003 .. to be honest, that's probably one of the elements that makes this video great for me. the whole routine was filmed in one take: no cutting and editting lazy choreography or slack dancing (as they are fairly on point.. most of the time). I imagine they would spent days learning & rehearsing before the shoot so it may have been a lazy day for the camera person but considerable time & effort put in by the girls! good on them..

I love the dance, love how Coordinated they are to do this all in a single shot, even if they had messed up a thousand times before it doesn't take away from what they accomplishes right there, but who the hell was directing this and thought it a good idea to put the camera on swing?!
