  • Richard Hunt does a gleefully funny voice for the Invisible Man. Totally different from Claude rains.

  • could u get a closeup of his feet? XD

  • What a great video.

  • I really like the old version better. I mean when they had the origional title card for this episode.

  • How different was the old version of the News Flash title card? I could tell that this was an older sketch recently that had the 1986 News Flash logo plastered onto the beginning.

  • anyone have the one about Rumplestiltskin? (Or however you spell it) lol His real name turns out to be Bruce...lol

  • I liked the original opening better.

  • If you could see him I wonder what he would look like.

  • OMG! I remember this! I always thought it was the greatest!!

  • Stop pushing!

    =D

    Kermit is the best!

  • LOL! get a closeup of his dancing feet there?

  • This would be a good spot for Lefty to sell his invisible ice cream cones.

  • Pretty cool, but I think this is actually from the 1980s.

  • Designing an invisible Muppet -- now that takes imagination... :-)

  • "Hey, watch it, you guys! Pick on someone your own opacity!"

  • The Invisible Man also filmed a series of commercials for Scotch Tape [R].

  • LMAO @ 'it just occurred to me: are you wearing any other clothes?' LOL!!

  • Gives a new meaning to "News Flash".

  • How cute was that! I remember seeing this news flash. Its cute when The Invisible Man brings in the whole family. Holy Cow! I love that line, "I see you all the time on Frogwitness News!" Awsome video. Thanks for the memories. :)

  • Starring Kermit the Frog. Based on a story by H.G. Wells.

  • What was the story of the invisible man?

  • I've never seen this... which, I suppose, is entirely appropriate.

  • Beautiful!! The invisible man did his best for tap dancing.

  • So funny...goes to show you that even scenes with invisible people end in typical, chaotic, sesame street style. :)

  • In answer to your question, Sawing, I really don't know. I just heard sound clips of that one. I think he was working in a clothing store and Fat Blue was his customer (as usual). Maybe someone will put that one up as well.

  • It was from the mid-90s, and Grover worked at a mall clothing store and refused to give the clothes from a mannequin (the only ones available) to Mr. Johnson because it would be shameful to "him". Mr. Johnson points out that the mannequin is not alive, but Grover finds an easy solution: take Mr. Johnson's clothes and trade them with the mannequin's. A few sound files can be found on the Sesame Street Lyrics Archive sounds pages.

  • Oh yeah, now I remember.

  • Anyone have the Alice in Wonderland interview?

  • I suppose when Kermit asks "Jon" for a close up of the dancing feet, he's referring to director Jon Stone. BTW, these invisible people better not encounter any robot butlers.

  • It's the invisible Fred Astaire. It will be funny if the cameraman say, "I don't see his dancing feet anywhere."

  • <<It's just occured to me, are any of you wearing any other clothes?" Lol, I can't believe Kermit said that! What's even sadder is I didn't even think of that until he pointed it out.>>

I didn't think of that either. Then there was a clip where Grover talked about being 'naked!' What are they teaching kids? Lol.

  • When was that?

  • you mr cow

  • I'm VISIBLY aglow -- thanks !

  • talk about multitasking, of course!

  • "WILL YOU JUST PUT YOUR HAT ON, SO I COULD TELL WHERE YOU ARE?" I just loved that!

  • The german version is even better!

  • Wenn du alte Sesamstrassensketche tauschen möchtest, melde dich einfach bei mir!

  • "It's just occured to me, are any of you wearing any other clothes?" Lol, I can't believe Kermit said that! What's even sadder is I didn't even think of that until he pointed it out.

    Awesome clip, thanks!

  • I think Kermit was on something back then if you know what i mean. ;)

  • Yes, he was on TV.

  • no i meant he must have been on drugs if he saw an invisible man. He must have been hallucinating, i am just joking. :)

  • I actually remember this one! Must have been the ending with all of his invisble relatives showing up.I love nostalgia. Thank you so much

  • This one kind of scared me as a kid, sort of. There's something scary about the scenery.
