How different was the old version of the News Flash title card? I could tell that this was an older sketch recently that had the 1986 News Flash logo plastered onto the beginning.
How cute was that! I remember seeing this news flash. Its cute when The Invisible Man brings in the whole family. Holy Cow! I love that line, "I see you all the time on Frogwitness News!" Awsome video. Thanks for the memories. :)
In answer to your question, Sawing, I really don't know. I just heard sound clips of that one. I think he was working in a clothing store and Fat Blue was his customer (as usual). Maybe someone will put that one up as well.
It was from the mid-90s, and Grover worked at a mall clothing store and refused to give the clothes from a mannequin (the only ones available) to Mr. Johnson because it would be shameful to "him". Mr. Johnson points out that the mannequin is not alive, but Grover finds an easy solution: take Mr. Johnson's clothes and trade them with the mannequin's. A few sound files can be found on the Sesame Street Lyrics Archive sounds pages.
I suppose when Kermit asks "Jon" for a close up of the dancing feet, he's referring to director Jon Stone. BTW, these invisible people better not encounter any robot butlers.
<<It's just occured to me, are any of you wearing any other clothes?" Lol, I can't believe Kermit said that! What's even sadder is I didn't even think of that until he pointed it out.>>
I didn't think of that either. Then there was a clip where Grover talked about being 'naked!' What are they teaching kids? Lol.

Richard Hunt does a gleefully funny voice for the Invisible Man. Totally different from Claude rains.

Starring Kermit the Frog. Based on a story by H.G. Wells.

What was the story of the invisible man?

I've never seen this... which, I suppose, is entirely appropriate.

Beautiful!! The invisible man did his best for tap dancing.

So funny...goes to show you that even scenes with invisible people end in typical, chaotic, sesame street style. :)

It's the invisible Fred Astaire. It will be funny if the cameraman say, "I don't see his dancing feet anywhere."

This one kind of scared me as a kid, sort of. There's something scary about the scenery.
