Ha ha ha ha! Really funny trailer. If i didn't know it was fake, i would be tittering with excitement. The next trailer i want to see of redwall is a real one, though. good job in the trailer. excited for the movie! lol
Redwall fans: Consider yourselves lucky. You have your favorite book series, Redwall, made into an animated series, while us Mistmantle Chronicles fans have only the books. -_- I really wish there was a Mistmantle Chronicles movie, or at the very least, an animated series of the books and not just the books themselves.
I know I already commented...but I must bear the sad news: Brian Jacques passed away today (Feb. 7, 2011) at the age of 71. May he rest in peace and may the legacy of the Redwall stories live on forever. :_(
@DuchessAliana He passed away the 5th, the news were actually released the 7th. Even so, he was truly a great author and a very great man. Rest in peace Brain Jacques, may Redwall live forever!
The first book was the best I think. The others (well, after Mossflower) had a different writing style. Can't put my finger on it but something changed for the worse I feel.
Aww, if you had made it an animated film, you would've had so much more material to work with to edit the trailer >w< Like the Secret of Nimh, several animated The Nutracker adaptations, the animated Lord of the Rings, etc :D
To add on to my last comment, you could've added the line that you heard spoken at the end of the intro of the Redwall animated series (That's where you got the dialogue.); you know the voice of Martin the Warrior whispering 'I Am That Is.' Now that would've gave it a little extra kick (Not that it needs any more 'kick,' mind you; it's just friendly opinion.).
Sorry, it's not you. It's just that SOME people in Hollywood butcher books by making crappy movies(cough desperaux cough) and causing people like Brian Jacques to protect their work. Maybe if Hollywood listened to fans instead of thinking about how many explosions to put in one scene, people might actually pay to see their movies instead of watching them on pirate websites.
Again, though, not your fault. Sorry for the rant.
I was wondering when you would make this one! Its perfect and this made me #LOL I was just thinking about my friend (who just is in LOVE with redwall) while this came into my sub box :P
as for the mistmantle fans, i agree. i love the mistmantle series and i wish there was a movie too.

Nice work, I love those books. The owl scenes in this video, were they from the new movie coming out, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole?
