Rain is a song by the Blake Babies, off their album Earwig. Evan Dando was in the band at the time, but the song was written by John Strohm.

not that I know of... I found it on an unofficial release of acoustic songs by Evan Dando, and have tried to find any info on when it was recorded, but to no avail.
