I found this and thought you girls would find it interesting. After attending the Pasadena Playhouse,Dustin Hoffman decided to move to New York and looked up former Playhouse classmate Gene Hackman. The two of them roomed together in New York at Hackman's one-bedroom apartment on 2nd Ave. and 26th St. Hoffman slept on the kitchen floor.

The magic of the Mimi and Flo show is it like watching tv in the 70's to me Mimi is like Sandy Duncan when she did Funny Face 71 and Flo is like Julie Kavner. Two girls who met at summer camp and years later meet again. they live in a kitchen and have the misfortune of us the viewer choosing what happens next. one of the priceless moments

so far is Mimi showing Flo the advantages of living in a kitchen and Flo's facial reactions, like that of a person entering the twilight zone.
