  • Love how up close and personal you are! Thank you for being so open, we need this info!!!

  • Did you upload your What's in your diaper bag??

  • @19shellyma75 not yet :) still editing...

  • @xxmjhdrumbabyxx oh i must have not caught that

  • I love this video! Your excitement over cloth diapers had me smiling lol And I love using cloth for myself, too. In all honesty, I used to have TERRIBLE cramps that would put me in the hospital. I was so sick of all that pain and crumpling on the floor. I had to dial 911 even when I was by myself in my apartment. BUT. Ever since I switched to cloth pads, I have no more cramps :) And I've discovered that it's because of the dioxins in the disposables. Cloth is super amazing :)

  • Rockin Green Laundry soap is #1 to no stinky smells!! 5 months of use now with it and I have not had any stink issues momma! try it

  • Sorry if this is too much of a personal question. But what do you suggest for menstral cycle? I always get weirded out by tampons Cause I never know what's in them. But I also hate pads. Just sitting in blood is so uncomfortable and gross to me.

  • @happyxxoface i totally agree, I like the pads for light days or as a pantyliner.. they're so comfy!... anywho look up "Diva cup" and lemme know your thoughts! Once my cycle starts up again Im going to use that! I think its the new alternative to tampons.. new & improved! without chemicals & can be left in all day! Im sold on it.. just waiting till i can actually use it. lol.. I will do a video review once ive used it tho! for sure! cause Im not a fan of tampons.... to scary!

  • @naturesknockout I am using the diva cup now, and have been for about 5 months. I absolutely love it, and would recommend it to anyone who is interested!!

  • @jazzgirl555 very good to know! thnks!! :)

  • so you throw the diaper with all the poo in the washing machine? You don't scrape it off or anything? Sorry for stupid question just curious.

  • @theoneandonlyinna if baby is exclusively breast fed- then yep- just toss it in the wash. (its water soluble) if baby is on solids or formula you need to spray, scrape or swish poo off.. (sprayer is most convenient)

  • @theoneandonlyinna Near the end she talked about a diaper sprayer that attaches to the toilet. I think that you take the poo diaper and use that sprayer to get the excess off and whatever wont come off with the sprayer, you wash. I think =/

  • Love the video! Its always great to see another young mom that uses cloth diapers! I have used them from day 1 on my 2nd babyboy that was born 7 months ago and would NEVER go back to disposables :) Im also using Rockin Green detergant but im looking for a new cloth diaper detergant, any recomendations?

  • @MamaBella01 yay for cloth from day 1 :)! ive just switched my detergent to tide original powder (shhh its not cd safe!) :-/ Ive just heard great things abt it & its so convenient.

  • did u use that minky pad looking thing fir ur normal period too? it looks uber comfy and stylish!

  • @christinnnetu well i havent started yet since I had my babers (sorry tmi) but when i do I will FOR SURE use it! its soo cozy!

  • Yeah for cloth diapering from day one! I did too and I loved it. I REALLY wished that I would have bought cloth for myself for postpartum. I am currently trying out several different brands of momma cloth- next baby I will treat myself to minky and bamboo velour! I would think that the diaper sprayer would have been too hard on my perineum postpartum. I loved my peri bottle. I love how you didn't let your hubby get in the way of cloth diapering, smart!

  • HAVE YOU HAD OUR NEW BABY THEN??

  • @RebbyFlebby yep! :)

  • Hi. Thank you so much for sharing :-) I was wondering if you guys have clear brow gel to recommend?

  • @Twistern94 We haven't seen one that was safe, so what we like instead is to use a safe chapstick, which actually helps hold the shape better too. xo

  • you are too cute

  • I don't have kids yet, but I love to see your mommy videos, just to learn, you know. that way when I do decide to have a baby, I'll have a lot more knowledge :)

And i have a cousin who is pregnant,so i'm always tell her about your videos, and my family will just look at me and be like "how do you know so much?" and i tell them "naturesknockout" on youtube, duhh. lol but thanks alot for taking the time to do these videos :)

  • @vany1614 haha, that's cute, love it & thanks so much for helping spread the word, yay! xoox

  • I am surprised that you could handle the cold water from the diaper sprayer. It's FREEZING!!! LOL

  • @08jaydensmommy08 lol it is pretty cold, but I love it! It leaves you feelin so fresh!

  • i loved watching this vid!!! thanks for sharing your experience with us!!!! cant wait for future updates!

  • thank you for sharing!! will deff consider when I have babies!!!

  • Thanks for sharing:) Very interesting.

  • Your hair looks incredible!!

  • Have you mentioned your sons name? I know you showed him in your last video but I dont remember you saying what his name is?

  • Ohhh so comfy velvet!!! I never even knew they existed! :D

  • yeeeyy super happy you do this to!!! A lot better for the environent and more comfy!! love u!

  • though I'm not a mom to be or anything, I've been very curious about cloth diaper since I've been using menstrual pads myself:) so thanx sooo much for the updates! Oh and pls mention more about menstrual cloth pads so that more women can be educated how great they are:)

  • it's never TMI for us who are not even pregnant yet, I'd like to be really prepared, thanks for sharing! :)

  • can you make a video of how you use the spray and how you wash it ? and show us what you use to wash it ;3 sorry im asking too much, am i? but i really wanna know :3 thankss <3

  • I love these mama vids, Tiff!! I can't wait to be a mom myself, and I would love to know as much as possible beforehand, so TMI is welcome here. I want to know what to expect, before I expect. Please keep these vids coming!

  • Never heard of a disposable diaper killings baby or causing life threatening problems.. When you say using disposable diapers and putting toxins on your son isn't wort it, sounds like you're saying ppl who don't cloth diaper are bad parents!

  • Please do show your son once.. Thanks for this video!

  • @funkynaz1 I did in the last video :)

  • @naturesknockout Oh.. I have missed that video.. Have watched it and commented on that vid.. xoxo..

  • HA! That's great, I love that you shared this. I don't have babies but it's great to hear there are safe alternatives. I'm going to tell all my friends with babies about cloth diapers

  • What detergent are you using now that you made a swtich? What were your favorite newborn diapers? Did you spray off the newborn diapers?

  • @dghrybkf I was using Nellies HE... now im using rock n green for hard water. My fav diapers right now are pre-fold & covers for the day. velcro Happy hienys for out & about. and bumgenius AIO for night time.

  • @naturesknockout Thanks:)

  • Love you guys!!! So happy the cloth diapers are working out so well for you =)

  • Your honestly one of the prettiest ladies I've seen on YouTube! Even though I don't plan on hang kids for another 5 years...do they make cloth like toddler diapers? Like pull ups? Jus a question! :) -33

  • @xxhaleyrawrx awww! wow thnk u so much!! Yes! good question! They do make cloth diaper pull ups & theyre also super cute!! :)

  • Okay, this is my third comment haha. Totally off topic but I'm looking a lot into skin care. I've suffered from moderate acne since I was 13 (now I'm 21) and I'm looking for safe alternatives to treat my acne and just nourish and moisturize my skin! Wondering if you've had experience with the Clarisonic? And what do you think about Origins products? Also, any other tips/products you've found to work for acne prone skin! Thanks again!

  • @tennesseegem haha, you're cute :) We've actually found a couple of oils that have worked super well with acne....tea tree and frankincense...tea tree helps combat infection and frankincense helps by repairing the damage. As for the Clarisonic type cleaners, we haven't tried them and really don't want to. We'll do another vid to explain, but it's tough on your skin to over-clean. We do have some wonderful, natural acne products that we love in the store of our website naturesknockout. com xo

  • Waaa, I didn't know they wear diapers for three years!!!

  • @TheRubyFeline depends on the kiddo... boys usually potty train later tho. My first was still in diaps when he turned 3..

  • @naturesknockout Wow, I'm clueless when it comes to children, I thought it'll be one year or so, haha! Those disposable diapers cost a fortune (not to mention the green factor) as it is, never mind using them for 3 years!

  • Yep... I am already on the hunt for what I am buying first. I bought some used covers. Think I am going to use Green Mountain Workhorse diapers. :) Loving the idea. Husband isn't on board yet :)

  • @shesakura awesome!!! good for you!! :) good luck!

  • P.S. Can you make a blog post with where you found all of the cloth diapering/postpartum pads brands? Thanks!

  • @tennesseegem thats a good idea! Yes i can do that :)

  • I am no where near ready to have children but you have me so interested in cloth diapering! I've been reading a lot and it's definitely something I want to do with my future children! Love your videos Tiff!

  • Omg! Plz do a review on how the belly bandit worked for you. I really want to try it but want to make sure i get the best for my buck. I'm a college student and if i can get the same quality for cheaper that would be amazing! :D

  • I am a Nanny and I absolutly LOVE cloth diapers !!! I wish more parents would use them. It's so much better for your babies bottom and Mother Earth too :)

  • @MsLilacLover1 what an awesome nanny you are! Can you come nanny my kiddos :)

  • That's awesome! I didn't know much about cloth diapers when my daughter was born - she's 9 now, but maybe back then they weren't as cool yet. All I remember were the horrible cloth diapers my mom used in the early 80's on my brothers with the nasty plastic covers (which were probably hand me downs from my baby years haha!)... Ugh! They were so not comfy looking. And the pinning! Ugh

    Great job!!

  • I loved this video! even though I'm not a mom and am only 16 :D

2:21 LOL so funny :) I use a lot of cloth pad, and LOVE them, have you ever used the LunaPads pads??? I've had some of there pads since I way 10! Over 6 years!!! And they still look/feel great :) (use them every day during "that time of the mouth")

  • Breast fed poopies don't have to be rinsed first either, you can throw them straight into the washer :)

  • Great video sweetheart! I still can't believe you just had a baby! You look amazing!xoxo

  • i'm only 21 and this may sound weird but: when i watch your vids i can'T wait to be a mum :D it's amazing how open you are about all this, you're amazing!

  • @DreamOfScotland awe thnk you! being a mommy is the best! ... When its the right timing of course :)

  • when you go somewhere, what do you do with the reusable pad if you need to change it? I kind of want to try those but am not sure about that. I love your videos!

  • @Mandy4578 Thats a good question!! I would just use a small sized wet bag (like the bag I showed in the video only smaller) they come as small as sandwich sized zip locks. but arent see through so no one knows whats inside & they are washable, so all you would do is empty everything in the bag in the washer and then toss the bag in as well.

  • So are you planning on using cloth pads every month now? Do they stain? I've been thinking about using them since I don't like spending $15 every month on regular ones, but Idk how I would feel if someone found them in my laundry with big red stains on them or anything lol

  • @EyeoftheWhiteWolf yes! Im going to be using the cloth pads from here on out- those & the Diva cup. (Def no tampons!) the minky cloth pads dont stain! Minky fabric for some weird reason doensnt stain! its great! But I still like to wring the pad out in cold water when im done with it- just to give it an extra rinse before it goes in the washer.

  • My kids are old now but I wished I would have done this when they were babies. I'm glad it's working out great for you.

  • Now what about bacteria in the washing machine.. I would think washing and drying them would result in nasty stuff in your washer.

  • @shaz0920 You just want to be sure you are rinsing (spraying) the diapers off well before they go into the washer (If baby is formula fed or on solids.) If you are rinsing, washing & using proper detergent.. then they should be getting clean properly & its sanitary. As far as drying- its best to line dry your diapers, but if that takes too long... drying them in the dryer isnt unsanitary since you are putting clean diapers in it.

  • Oh I forgot--did you try the belly bandit postpartum??

  • @ambularofamber yes! I loved it. I want to do a review- there were some things that drove me nuts with the belly bandit in particular & I think the cost is too high for its functions. I have some other brands that work just as well & are 1/3 of the cost.

  • I am so wanting to try the cloth diapers..we used disposables on our now 3 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old and I didn't even bring up the saving money part with my husband....hmm...lol. He is very anti-cloth diapers. "NO...that's distigusting..."The smell and not getting them clean enough are his anti-cloth reasons.. Our #3 is due in June so I may just start stocking up now. The ONLY thing I can see is my 3 yr old son playing with the diaper bidet hose..

You do look great by the way!

  • @ambularofamber aw thank you! Yes, I hear ya on the bidet- my 4 year old keeps wanting to play with ours.. and I hear ya on the husband issue- mine was the exact same way! Somehow I was able to pull it off :) I think the money thing is a huge plus for the hubbies! That and i did get him to watch a few youtube videos from other "macho" dads that were all for cloth diapering & he eventually came around.

  • A great thing you can do with the cloth diapers as far as stains go is to let them sit in the sun to dry. It acts as a natural bleach, really helps with stains. The less stained they are the better the resale value =)

  • So you just though them in the washer with the poo and stuff on it? I think I will be trying them out once me and my fiancee decide to have a child later on. I never knew they did clothe diapers until I saw this!!! Thank you so much!

  • @Nepenning your welcome! Breastfed poo is water soluable, so yes, you can just throw them in the washer. Once baby is introduced to formula & or solids, you need to flush the poo & spray anything on the diaper off before washing.

  • @naturesknockout Ohhhh, gotcha! Thank you so much again :)

  • You should show us your husband in one of your videos...I'm curious to see what he looks like!

  • @ajpatino1 lol.. he's an Italian Stallion! :) quite a hunk..

  • How do you clean cloth diapers? I mean like what if they pooped? Just scrape it off...? someone please answer.

  • @ajpatino1 you spray it with the diaper sprayer i mentioned at the end of the video & then wash in your washer- lots of rinses & hot water for sanitizing!

  • Does every girl after she has a baby half to wear like mom diapers? I'm still a teenager so I wouldn't know...lol but seriously do they?

  • @ajpatino1 thats a good question... im not sure about c-sections- but with normal deliveries you havta wear pads. Having a baby is a pretty traumatic thing for your body.. so you do bleed...

  • How fantastic that cloth diapering is working out so well for you! Which detergent are you using, and how do you deal with staining? My kids are older now but I have a friend who will have a baby soon and I told her about cloth diapers and she had these questions, so thought I would ask the expert! ;)

  • @sharisp2 I was using Nellie's detergent (its all natural & great for cloth diapers) I might switch though just because I dont have an HE machine... & like I said I got an HE kind (sigh) but Nellies is great. With stains, they say the BEST & cheapest method is hanging them out in the sun. Ive heard the worst of the worst stains can be naturally bleached by the sun! I have yet to sun my diaps, cause there is no sun right now, BUT once summer hits- my diaps will be strung accross my back yard! :)

  • Fascinating! I have learned so much! YOU LOOK GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you're doing well & the diapering is going well!! <3

  • I'd never even thought about diapers having toxins! If I ever have kids I think I'll do cloth diapers too! :) Btw, can you recommend a good laudry detergent for sensitive skin? They changed the formula on my current one and it is breaking me out. :(

  • @KraftyKaitlyn You may want to try and make your own detergent! Its cheaper & safe! My oldest son has sensitive skin so we switched to making our own detergent & it works great! (You cant use homemade detergent on diapers tho... fyi) We have a laundry recipe on our website! Ill link it below this video in the description box for ya!

  • I really want to do cloth diapers but theyre so expensive since you have to buy them in a bulk. Im in the process of saving and purchasing. Im so proud of you Tiff. Hows the BF'ing coming along since it didnt work out as planned for the first one. Hope you wont mind telling us? (=

  • @flesh60 Youre right, they can get expensive originally out of pocket, but dont get discouraged! You can cloth diaper for pretty inexpensive. (pre-folds & covers) Also know that if the diapers are well taken care of you can re-sell them when your done with them. Diapers have amazing re-sale value! BF'ing has been going great!! He's gaining weight & is happy & healthy! Such a blessing :)

  • Thank you soo much for this video Tiffany!! After watching ur cloth diaper video from when u were pregnant I've been soo interested in doing cloth diapers if I have another child!! Btw, u can never tell me too much info!! The more the better I say on certain topics!! Wishing u and ur family a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!

  • @Parsley96 You're welcome! Thnk you for watching :) oh and whew glad I didnt say too much- lol.. you never know who you might offend these days!

  • The diapers are super-cute!

  • Wao such a good idea! Good for the baby, good for the environment! :)

  • @cHichi3X I kno! Its a win-win all round :)

  • I'm a fellow cloth diaperer also!! Of course, that was about 10 years ago when it was a lot harder to find all the cute diapers...but totally doable. Where did you get the reusable feminine pads? I'm intrigued! :)

  • @graciemarieb I got them off etsy actually! They're the best! I'll link the seller below the video! Something I forgot to mention in the video.... is that people say cloth menstrual/postpartum pads lessen cramps & reduce bleeding because there are no additives or toxins that cause problems. (this is only hearsay- im no doc of course) but I did notice I stopped bleeding MONTHS earlier this pregnancy... so I cant complain :)

  • Hi :>) I don't have any children but I know when I took care of my younger sister, we used the old fashioned cloth diapers with pins and all and I thought there were fine I am sure nowadays it much be sooooooooo much better :>) Great Work!!! So Proud of you! Lv Lucille

  • @Tinkerchelli thats awesome you did them too!! thnk you Lucille :)

  • I love how you're in the bathroom for this video. haha ;D

  • @BriannePacker I kno- perfect fit for this video huh? :)

  • Ah where were you when my kids were little!? I was researching and researching and all I found was those things that look like super thin towels and you wrap around your kid and pin it. My daughter is almost three so we are trying to potty train her. So now it would just be pointless. But any new mom I run across I'll direct them here lol

  • @sunshine09bbopper06 yes plz do! Also, if you're planning on using pull-ups for your lil lady... they do have cloth ones! They're cute too! just fyi :)

  • So happy you are doing so well with the cloth diapers. :) They are super cute and much easier than you they are going to be. I think laundering them is the most difficult because water type and machine type make a difference.

  • @MsDeidraMarie thats exactly right, finding the laundry routine that works well for you and your situation.. im struggling with that right now! sigh.

  • could you recommend an organic detangler spray? :)

  • @Twistern94 Onesta has a nice leave in spray conditioner! OR Derm Organics argon oil is my all time fav. Its not a spray, but it def detangles & protects the hair from damage.

  • very nice! glad i know!
