From what I read, the impeachment was put up to a vote with almost no discussion, as a political move by Kucinich. Ron Paul is not opposed to impeaching them, but he recognizes that it's not something to be done lightly. I hate Bush and Cheney as much as the next guy, but I think he made the right choice.

Ron Paul voted to impeach Clinton for war crimes (for bombing Yugoslavia, I believe); Ron Paul has said that this is an illegal war.
