well actualy the proper way is to make sure ur hair is completely dry then comb it up in place then hairspay both sides of the section then blowdry bothsides and if any gaps cum up then comb in beetween thos gaps and make sure they r sticking together then hairspray the gapped part and blowdry

You're an idiot...Mixing water with the hairspray causes it to dry slower and drip, if used on dry hair in combination with a hairdryer the process is much more effective. 'Hawks of any kind over about 3-4" this won't work with well at all. Your process may have intended to be comical but you might send the wrong ideas.

I hate to be an idiot, but great feedback nevertheless. When styling his mohawk, I found that spraying with water or applying hairspray on wet hair worked better than dry. Thanks for the information.

Does that qork on curly hair? Cause I have a mohawk but mines all curly and everything and I wanted it to spike. I currently use regular hairspray but idk if it would work in my hai.r I've tried gels, which dont work casue my hair is too light and the gel is to havy. So i don't know what to do. That technique works for shorter, half-assed mohawks... However, it's MUCH harder when your mohawk is as long as mine (a little over 7 inches). You have to spike it up bit-by-bit with hairspray/a blowdryer.
