Amazing in terms of speed... but I like Gil Shaham's... uh, version? interpretation? of this piece. No offense. Of course Fischer's talent is unquestionable, just that there are times when speed is not the dominating part.

I've heard several versions of this music, and this was the fastest. That is a nod to her ability. But I think it sounds better when the music flows, and isn't rushed. Speed is fine, but accuracy is final.

Yeah I actually think she is better than Hillary Hahn. This has to be the best performance of this song I've ever heard. Her style is always right on point and her sound is so crisp and clean. She puts space in between her notes and it suits the first and third movements perfectly.

I think I like her more than Hillary Hahn. Consumate skill. Both have great skill with the violin. Put her bow to bow with Antonio and I'll bet she would win. Thanks for sharing this. Great video, great music. I play mandolin so it's great for me to see someone like Julia playing some of things I like to play and to watch her fingering. No, I can't play anything that fast. I don't have that much skill and never will!

amazing :D:D:D:D i heard this in the korean movie " Oldboy" the hammer pulling tooth scene. i thought it was a movie music that didn't excist. once i got my mobile phone i didn't use it at all. two years later i randomly listened to all my music i had on it, and winter popped up, HEY , this is the music in the movie!!!!! winter! yes!!!!!!

If you just listen to this movt (my favorite) without watching Julia and being mesmerized by her charm, you would appreciate her even more as she plays it so well we all run out of superlatives.

The only other performance that came close was when I MusicI played at Royce Hall.. but that was a long time ago.
