  • If they balance it more like it was earlier in the game and not try to make it one giant bliz, then it'll be good. I miss the days when a match actually took a while. It was refreshing. Now it takes a few minutes and everyone's already Onos' and fades running all over the place

  • @PocketDrummer In an interview they said they are aiming at about 20 mins average match length.

  • insane

  • 0:35 -- Real is brown!

  • first thing I thought: Imperial Guard skins, now.

  • looking good guys! nice work! best of luck on the rest of the development!

  • Alright, so show it in motion?

  • that'd be nice

  • NS2 is starting to look like GotY material to me.

If the gameplay is half as good as NS1 and they make it look this good it's going to pound the mainstream publishers offerings into the ground.

  • Agreed, 2014 GOTY

  • No doubt. It totally lines us up for NS3 in 2020 too! :P

  • To the poster, the link in the More Info section doesn't work (domain issues).

    Just fyi.

  • there's an extra period at the end of the URL (in the description) that is throwing off the link. if you remove it, it'll work.

the site is up, if anyone wants to check it out

  • oh my god...

looks rather like a model rendering program instead of a real time game environment.

    NICE

  • epic marines:D

  • very cool, but the gameplay is more important, i hope you don't forget it!!

  • Holyyyyyyyyyyy shit

  • Looking good. Keep it up!

  • animations :(

  • They're using motion capture and, AFAIK, still incorporating the animations into the game.

  • i know

  • Looks awesome.

  • This looks REAL fucken good guys!

But 1 suggestion, new music please?

  • Shaders 2.0 and yet ambient occlusion? Good grief, fellas.

  • what do you mean by that?

  • It's bizarre. Most modern games use shaders 3.0, but seldom ambient occlusion. NS2 then uses a fairly outdated model together with a very new one.

I could be wrong, of course, I'm not all that tech-savvy.

  • Yeah, you are wrong. Many games nowadays use ambient occlusion.

  • Now please!

  • Are those the finished (almost) gun models Mr. Flayra?

  • great work! love the use of color grading

  • That's a beautiful engine they got for NS2 :D

  • that was allot of lights.

  • lmao nice
