Well to answer your ? artg818 i have a intel 1.8ghz cpu,Nvidia 7600gs 512mb AGPx8,and XP home edition.

Now if you all want to know how to decrease less lag then do crtl alt del and then process tab and then click out any programs you dont need. Fraps should be ran all alone without any 3rd party programs running.

the 512 ram is slow as hell and besides the card has like 16 shaders. that is terrible. the gtx 280 has 240 shaders and the 8800gtx has 128

on direct x 10 i get 81 and 73 on the test from there game -on directx 9 on vista i get 122 and 112 im using 2x 8800gts oc 320mb from bfg so anything is possible those settings are maxed on vista at the highest resoulution from my moniter also at max on the game settings.......after its all to do whith specs and settings in ya rig :0)

Cuz i got a 8500gt overclocked and running average 24-29 fps and max 45 fps med/high settings 800x600.

9600GT and 8800GT can run it average 40- 50 fps. Nooob.

8500GT sucks for gaming, clock speeds are low, and many models have heat issues(many are passive cooled-_-)

If you're buying a high-end system this card will bottleneck you as hell.

Played Crysis on 1280x960 all Med fps was somewhere around 30-40...

Should try Lost Planet too... I think my HD2600XT should beat your 8500GT

i got this with my 8800gtx and it runs full dx10 all setting max bout 50-60fps u know that orange enrgy stuff well i didnt know that it helped u so i played throu half the game not knowing to pick it up i just avoided it and jumped over it lol

I glad i see someone is getting good results with a pentium 4. I just ordered a p4 3.0ghz prescott to replace a shitty ass 2 ghz celeron i've been using. I was a little worried that the p4 was too out dated for some of da newer games but I can clearly see that I was wrong(woo hoo!) Of course you cant put da setting on all max but I dont care.
