  • BRING ALL 100K back.

chen of china advises usa to stop funding war and start taking care of you own country.

what do you say to that obama?

  • 2009 Obama puts 30K troops into Afghanistan - this year he says he will take out 10K by november [election time] and 20K more next year.

  • When did war become this insanely popular...liberals think they're saving the world, conservatives think they're saving the world for God....crazy!

  • @darkuser999 please dont lump us together, i agree with this guy and ron paul on foreign policy but not on most domestic issues

  • Kucinich/Gravel '012

  • Why isn't the government responding to its citizen's lack of jobs and healthcare? Or that there are so many Americans going hungry? Very simple. The reason is that the US ruling class could NOT care less about the needs of its citizens. They answer to the Big lobbyists and Big Corporations. That's why. Next up will be martial law. That's NOT a stretch; martial law has been proposed before. It may or may not happen, but martial law is a REAL possibility.

  • reason

  • 9/11 Truth then Justice ends wars. It's all built on LIES.

  • Dennis is, except for his gun control stance is a good guy.... I do not understand why he likes Barry, Barry is a bigger liar than boosh was

  • i agree..dennis is the best democrat,i just wish he would change his beliefs on gun control

  • Hero

  • More excellent work from Dennis. It's been a very difficult road for him. Thank God we have him and a few others to stand up for whats right.

  • ClmateGate,Mikes Nature Trick,Hide the Decline ,Fudge factor ,Hide the Decline & Pay your Carbon Tax to World Bank, implementation of policies arising out of fraudulent fearmongering and biased studies on global warming is already devastating the third world, with a doubling in food prices causing mass starvation and death reason why the climategate crooks and their allies should be criminally investigated and hit with the strongest charges possible.,Derivatives sold on Wall Street GoldMine

  • This is the voice of wisdom witch sadly was not consulted a lot in the last decade i hope thats about to Change. Also I am fearsome that some False flag Attack could easily destroy this to the favour of those wanting everlasting War! We need Prayer and Action at the same time to many Christians sit around and wait till God is going to Beam them up well!? What if he only will do so if you stud up for whats right then youre bill will not end quit as you wanted it to! Think about it!

  • Great job by Dennis, in bringing up Art. 1 Sec 8. Also by dismissing the FALSE left/Right Paradigm. But we must also realize that until we END The FED, take the money power out of the hands of the Tyrants, that we will never End the Wars nor solve any of the other issues facing our country. We MUST like Ron Paul calls for END The FED - then you will see, the WARS will end, we can fix this country and the world will follow.

    END The FED

    Ron Paul for President 2012!

  • A Paul/Kucinich ticket would unite America!

  • heelll yeah!! thats what i was thinkin

  • BEST combo in a hundred years ! Paul/Kucinich

  • HOPEFULLY

  • This guy speaks too much common sense. People do not respond to common sense and reality... esp when it's stuff they don't want to hear. people are incredibly stupid and way too focused on silliness and not on truth/reality that is right before their eyes. They would rather listen to silly promises and rhetoric about choosing sides when there really is only one side... and when that side has the power, the rest of us lose.

  • "Afghans don't want to be saved by Us" "They want to be saved FROM Us"

  • Fascism

1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

    Merriam-Webster online dictionary

  • Not sure how you can have Kucinich/Ron Paul together mate, they are on different parts of the spectrum.

Ron Paul has decent ideas but he's a libertarian who believes in the free market, look what free market did to Wall Street.

What you need is Ralph Nader & Kucinich for 2012.

  • You must mean Kucinich & Ralph Nader.

    I can see a Kucinich/Paul team.

Kucinich could work on getting the Democrats in Congress to stop supporting the fascists, and Paul could work on the Republicans to do the same.

Personally, I would prefer to see a Kucinich/Howard Dean match up.

  • Ron Paul is a decent guy (regarding his personality and care for others) however he's a right wing libertarian and I'm not in favour in putting my faith in the free market as he is. His and dennis kucinich's politics are entirely different. He's still good though of course.

Ralph Nader and Kucinich however are both left wing progressives (Theodore Roosevelt the Republican was also a left wing progressive).

Nothing against Ron Paul but I'm against libertarians. We need social democrats.

  • Faith in government is faith in politicians, and it is faith misplaced. I'll take liberty any day.

  • I wouldn't equate libertarianism with liberty. The term, "libertarianism" originally was the same as what we today call Social Anarchism or Libertarian Socialism. If you've read Ayn Rand's book you would understand why modern rightwing Libertarianism is dangerous, as it runs on the individual's greed for success, and in libertarianism there would be private armies and the corporations would own everything.

Dennis Kucinich is who yal need to root for, look at his voting record, it's solid.

  • Sanders & Kucinich!

  • Sanders is insane.

  • Actually, Kucinich/Paul is a good idea. Not only would it gather voters from both sides of the spectrum, but it would also highlight the fact that you don't have to be a republican or a democrat to think bailouts, wars, domestic spying, etc. are ridiculous.

  • But if that does happen, whose policies will the campaign be advocating? Paul's right wing fancy libertarianism or Kucinich's progressive left wing policies?

Ron Paul also involves religion into his policies since he wants abortion/gay marriage to be on the state level, etc.

    Kucinich/Nader 2012.

    I'm not a fan of Ron Paul's Milton Friedman/free-market.

Kucinich's ideas are pretty much already in place in Canada and France and hence I'd support him.

  • Seeing all of those soldiers there, the Obama speech reminded me of the movie "Starship Troopers." They wore the exact same uniforms as well.

Btw I'm as progressive and left wing you can get, and I'm a Canadian, but man...Obama really did well on his pre-election campaign talking about change and "yes we can" only to come into office and continue on the Bush Doctrine of Pre-emptive war.

  • As usual Dennis speaks the truth & has his priorities in the right place. O'Reilly is an ignorant jackass. I wouldn't have the patience to deal with him as Dennis does! The interview with Amy Goodman was my favorite. Wish it could be seen by all citizens! We've got your back Congressman Kucinich!

  • Best man in Government!

  • Kucinich said this on Bill Come On! OReilly:

It costs $1,000,000 to fund one soldier in Afghanistan. That same $1 Mil. can be used to create 25 civilian jobs at home here in the U.S. That's $40,000 per job!

30,000 more troops in Afghanistan, or 750,000 new jobs here at home?

    Now that's nation building!

In hindsight, Kucinich's Department of Peace makes much more sense than the Department of Homeland Security, a fully owned subsidiary of the Military Industrial Complex

    Kucinich/Peace 2012

  • kucinich for president paul for vice;obama is just bush 2 nothing else; obama needs to listen to himself not generals

  • Bush 2? Really?

  • Like Dubya/dick, like Obama/Rahmbo

    First came the Neocon-Fascist Republicans.

Then came the Blue Dog DINO-Fascists.

Different players, same old fascist story.

That's change that remains the same! (repeat)

  • Which cult do you belong to?

  • I can tell by your completely uncivil and illogical comment that you have much learning ahead of you.

When you sling mud at others, you get the most mud on yourself.

Stop allowing the upper 1% to control you with their irrelevant "conquer and divide" wedge issues, while they rob YOU blind.

Open your eyes and smell the Democratic and Republican fascism.

People like Kucinich are on your side. Bush, Cheney and Obama are not.

Learn to tell the difference before it's too late.

  • I didn't think it was a wedge issue.

  • I never said the immoral, illegal imperialist, genocidal Afganistan war OF terror was a wedge issue.

Wedge issues are irrelevant issues like guns, God, gays, abortion and name calling.

The fascists design petty little issues like those for us to fight over that don't involve money. Meanwhile, the fascists rob us blind with more war and Wall Street bailouts, instead of bailing out Main Street.

There is a reason why the upper 1% now own more than the bottom 95%. Wake up and smell the fascism!

  • Indeed mate, as a Canadian what you guys really need is a 3rd party. Heck the U.S. is I think the only country in the developed world that DOES NOT have a major 3rd party, Canada UK France, etc do.

U.S. could use a progress Socialist party (no not russian socialism rofls but what we got in Canada and France). The Democrats and the Republicans are the same, instead you guys need more Kucinichs.

Socialist Party led France for a couple of decades and look at France they ain't no China.

  • Like now, early leaders during the 1930s Depression continued to carry water for the wealthy bankers and industrialist and ignored the plight of the common man. This led to the birth and rapid growth of the American Socialist Party that fought to enact massive social reforms. The Capitalists were soon quaking in their boots and gave Roosevelt their full support to enact his more moderate social agenda. A great opportunity to save future generations from the scurge of Capitalism was missed !

  • Kucinich for President in 2012.

  • The best interviews are always not on the main stream media, no surprise. Great interview!

  • Si Yu'us Ma'ase Congressman Kucinich para i fino'-mu.

  • Kudos for appearing on Amy's show.

She grabbed my attention two presidential administrations ago. Quite the meme that "I want my Democracy Now!"

Sad that so many, including the current Presidential administration, see it as simply bumper sticker politics.

Does anyone else notice the different environment here, at Democracy Now, compared to the Bill'O show where the same message was presented?

  • @maskedphrogg

Great interview. Wow, to think that there is actually someone other than Ron Paul who is speaking out for us, we the people!

    Go Dennis!

Bill O is.....well, let's say it truthfully, Bill O is and A Hole and always and abruplty speaks while his guest is attempting to answer! What a jerk!

  • Better yet, for me anyway as I live in Kentucky, is Rand Paul. Ron Paul's son. Rand is running for the US Senate seat to be vacated by Jim Bunning. Rand resonates with the same ideals as his father.

Keep the faith dskap201. There are many more voices out here in the woods that speak the language of liberty that you and I have become so fond of when listening to grand speakers like Ron, Dennis, and Rand. They just don't get Prime Time TV exposure during the run-up to elections.
