It's because many add-on packages aren't DX10 compatible, hence the white textures. As far as the pink square on the runway goes, do you have a legal copy of the software? If you do, contact customer support at Flytampa.

wen i play online in st Maarten airport i always approach from the North over the mountian and then to get down quick enough i bring up the spoilers and cut the throttle then wen im all corrected i take down the spoilers and give er a little throttle then its a great landin! i must say im very good at landin jets but crap wit piston engine planes!i dont know how i do it!lol

You can find a rexture fix for this on Flytampa's website. It's called dirtpad.bmp if I remember it right.

I mostly use default FSX cameras but have DBS walk and follow installed as well.

Way too much :) Computer has been improved in stages. My channel has all the specs but spending as much as I did is a real waste. An E8400 CPU, good GPU and a clean and defragged system will get you quite far.

The i7 I have now doesn't really perform much better than the Q9550 I had. FSX isn't a GPU hungry game so a 9800GTX will be sufficient.

I usually play at 1680x1050. I'm not doing anything special, except balance the settings and using the right mix of add-ons. I also have a machine which is a little different than yours, right?

As far as frame rates go, the "how many can you get" question is irrelevant. Sometimes I lock it at 35 (easy sceneries) and sometimes I run unlimited (dense areas). As long as you can record at 25fps it will all look good. I don't get into pissing matches about how many frames I can get. It's irrelevant.

Because St. Maarten has traffic only at certain periods of the week, especially weekends. There is a lot of info about it if you go to the Flytampa forums and look around.

Um yes I did. I dont apply reverse thrust until the nose wheel hits the ground and it's hard to see the thrusters from the camera angle following the touchdown side view.

That has a lot to do with runway length and everything. The end point is that I always use reverse thrust when I land.

Well, that's kind of an odd question. Regardless of how, you end up installing it right?

Anyway, it has an automatic installer like most payware programs do. Click, choose options of the install and you're done. Some of these require you to manually add it in the scenery library but not this one.

Yes, I use fraps. As far as HD rendering goes, there are a ton of tutorials on youtube so I dont see a need to do a lot of elaborate explaining via a post. Search for Youtube in HD and you should find plenty.
