  • Nice deep rumbling, that`s how the newer vettes should sound like

  • @reap62 sorry I didn't notice your other comments.

  • @reap62

You seem to be choking on the state’s propaganda/money making smog racket. The funny thing is that most well maintained muscle cars produce very low emissions.

  • @peepnklown no im not that wasnt a sarcastic comment i actually meant it i have a 78 f250 with a 460 and no cats in it i rebuilt it myself and i built up my buddies 302 and put a supercharger on it and put it in a mustang didnt blow a puff of smoke and neither did my 460 i know what a well maintained engine means and i know what a shitty worn out engine means even heavily emission controlled ones

  • @reap62

    I take back my comment.

  • WASTE OF TIME!!

  • ive always wanted a car like this with a badge on the back that says "NON-hybrid" for when i go visit my 100% left wing hippie family in cali :) haha

  • Glad you went with the side pipes. That's to raspy for my taste.

  • @rmryder88 i love side pipes. they just say MUSCLE ya know? That sounds like its going to be one heck of a car man. keep up the great work! good to see these old cars on the road. they dont make them like this anymore.

  • @zztops08 Ill check it out, Ive heard chambered exhaust systems sound great.

However, I just finished installing my custom built 383 stroker and 4" stainless side pipes.

Im just waiting on the 700r4 trans to be built and then Ill be back on the road. Ill make sure to get some videos

  • hate glass packs all rednecks it sounds like shit way to loud and no muscle sounds just loud popping i got flowmasters on my vette and shit on the rednecks with real american muscle sound not giant loud farts

  • flowmasters sound like shit we had them on our custom 79 nothing but a loud annoying hum

  • maybe if you knew anything about cars and put the right ones on there ive never heard a flowmaster with a hum but you seem to know a lot about cars cause you cant even pick the right flowmaster out

  • ok so what is a right flowmaster? they all share the same basic principle just different number of chambers for volume so enlighten me with your vast knowledge

  • if you put the wrong set up on your car it would sound like shit you obviously know a lot about cars i see go look up how you have to have the right set up for your exhaust to sound good i guareentee you they arnt all the same if they were they wouldnt sell so many different kinds look it up dumbass

  • So you have to have the right set up right? But somehow Flowmasters sound good on everything? You still havent explained anything your just repeating yourself DUMBASS

  • i said the flowmasters sound good on my car you dumbass mine accually has muscle though if you know wat that is but glasspacks are what rednecks put on there trucks and listen to the popping noise when the car downshifts so whatever you say flows are better and dont fuckin pop you fuckin retard your car you have flows on must be one shitty car to even sound remotely bad with any kind of flows you just need more muscle

  • Got an 04 Goat so yes I know what mucsle is step dad has a 79 vette and thats just the tip of cars Ive been around and the 79 had 40 series flows and sounded like shit now with the three inch magnaflows it sounds better and runs even better

  • must be a stock 79 vette with 190 horsepower thats why you have to use glasspacks for artificial muscle sound

  • its a turbo small block so no wouldnt call that stock and I said it had magnaflows not glass packs it used to have flows but would have sounded better with em. I have chambered muffs on my goat which are alot like glass packs without the packing

  • the only flowmaster ive ever heard that made a humming noise was on a jetta and a honda not on real cars so you must have the stock 190 horses dumbass or else even these shitty ass glasspacks would sound good only people with no engine muscle have to result to glasspacks the shitty v6 trucks and shitty v6 mustangs

  • ...maybe Ill get a Prius....Nah, Ill stick with the new 383 Im building :D

  • my neighbor has a rusty old pontiac lemans with a 400 in it, i wanna see if i can buy it off him for a few hundred and scrap the body and take the engine out of it, i dont know what kind of car i want to put it in but idk whatever i find, lol maybe i will get a prius just to scrap all the hybrid shit in it and throw in a v8, that would be hilarious to watch driving down the road

  • @rmryder88

383? You better post a video of that man! Awesome!

  • @FANADICALCOWHEAD Already did.... check out my other videos!

  • @ reap62 to bad hybrids are worse for the enviornment when it comes time to replace those batteries in a couple years......

  • @reap62 FUCK YOU HIPPIE!!!!!

  • @xElxxNinox i have an 87 f-250 with a 460 in it and no cats, im anything but a hippie dude

  • @reap62 Better than the pussy ass Prius! >:D fuck the ozone! I just want a beastly sounding car!

  • @xkraken93x idk why that got so many negatives i wasnt being sarcastic when i said thats the spirit i really meant thats the spirit i want a 69 camaro with a 427 and no cats in my garage thats why i said 5 stars for the huge amounts of horsepower

  • @reap62 Dude, it doesn't pollute the 'ozone', and other alternatives like your prius aren't much better. (Ever tried to break down lithium?) Sequestration and re-use of atmospheric carbon is the way to go, not throwing away awesomeness like this. ;)

  • @TheSqeeek i dont know why everyone thinks that comment was sarcastic i really meant 5 stars for horsepower even though its a sting ray so it only made about 160, id ride a bike to work everyday before id even sit in a prius theyre the worst thing engineered since catalyic converters and also carbon does break down ozone but the science isnt important, fast cars are important.

  • @reap62 - Fair enough, sorry to get on ya. Lol but my family does all work in that field, and the carbon from car exhaust isn't the carbon that breaks down ozone. But like you said, doesn't matter, these are awesome. I need to get some vids up of my '70 Olds. Doesn't hold a candle to this guy, but still :D

  • @TheSqeeek ima ford tech some of the new designs they have are way ahead of these cars and honestly i bet your olds is way nice than this corvette because the stingrays had 454s in them because as soon as the government made car manufacturers start using emission controls chevy stopped putting 427s in the corvette which i dont know why because they had mfi versions that made over 500hp factory then they went to the 454 on the sting ray in like 70 or 71 and they made like 160hp=/

  • @reap62 Idk, some of the 454's I've had aren't too bad. The worst ones were the 4cyl 80's stingrays. My olds has a 455, but that's a whole different bore/stroke than a 454, lots higher compression in many cases. But it all depends on how it's built, I guess XD

  • @TheSqeeek lol carbon that comes off of exhaust is different than any other carbon?????!?!??! ur trying to sound smart and sound like you've owned everyting but your lookin like an idiot. CARBON IS CARBON.

  • @reap62 were do you think the huge batteries for your prius go when they die. they don't just disappear.

  • @MrMetalica11 godamnit that wasnt a sarcastic comment why dont people get that i have a 78 f250 with a 460 and no cats do i sound like i care about emissions i actually meant yay huge amounts of torque and horse power...

  • i have a 2003 chevy 2500HD, with glasspacks, stock cats, true dual, no x pipe, and yes the glasspacks sound great, check out my video

  • i hate those fuckin rednecks with the glasspacks when you go 20 miles per hour i cant here myself talk and its not in a good way i have a 79 vette with flowmasters much better and no popping noises

  • ive got the exact same exhaust setup on my Corvette.

  • BITCHIN, my truck has a 283 with headers and doubled up glass packs on each side, I bought it like that but love the sound so much that I wouldn't change it for the world. glass packs are bad ass

  • how does the glasspacks make the poping sound??

  • Nice, you should have hit a few more RPM's though. :) Sounds good

  • Thanks again i really appreciate it,Tony

  • Sounds awsome, what size tires do u have? Thanks

  • Thanks. Theyre BFGoodrich Radial TAs 255/60 15. Theyre pretty wide, theyre actually the size the car came with stock if you got the optional alluminum wheels, except mine are on AR Torq Thrust IIs now.

  • same tires i have on my blazer, lol size and all =)....btw that sounds sexy as hell =) i love it

  • damn it has a nice fuckin puurr to it..all dat power just waitin to b unleashed!!! hahaha

  • I just ditched Flowmasters on my Mustang in favour of some Cherry Bombs. I am so glad to get rid of the Flowmaster drone! I sold my Flowmasters and still had $15 left over after the shop had welded my 'packs in, too.

  • the problem with flows is if u take off the resonator or cats your gonna get alot of echo from the backfires, its like ricer rasp for muscle cars and just sounds awful IMHO but glass packs (cherry bomb glass packs $25 bucks at pep boys) keep that deep tone and let the rumble of the back fires flow by instead of making them sound like poping

  • yes glasspacks sound like shit it pops and is wayyyyyyyyyy to loud no muscle sound at all go with the flowmasters thats wat i have on my vette sounds way better

  • It's tricky to get Flows to sound good, i've owned them, you happen to have the exhaust done just right for Flows....the problem with them is they have a terrible echo to 'em (yours doesn't) but by enlarge most Flowmaster exhaust systems have echo, glass packs will never give an echo, and are only "too loud" if it's straight piped, and if you can hear the roar of the engine then that is the muscle car sound my friend, and sorry Ray's vette didn't sell, seems like a very nice vette

  • glasspacks sound good on cars not trucks but the popping sound is just to annoying when you get on the gas my flowmasters have the best idle sound and when you get on it but yes ray had a very nice vette

  • well it all boils down to a matter of preference, lol

  • watch it or mlgf0urshott is going to tell you that you must have a shitty v6 mustang with no power, or that you must be a stupid redneck cause you have the glass packs, you got a video?

  • @zman204 I do indeed have a video of my 306 inches of bent eight iron huffing out through Cherry Bombs. Can't say I have a huge amount of horsepower though :)

  • I have an '81 Corvette w/4-speed manual that I replaced the stock, restrictive exhaust. I first tried a pair of Magnaflow mufflers, but they were too quiet for my taste. I then tried out a pair of Flowmaster 40 series w/Delta Flow Technology and replaced the factory catalytic converter with a high-flow one and that did the trick!!...awesome sound and improved performance!!...what a winning combination!!..I highly recommend this set-up, C3 Corvette owners!!!

  • I wish I could be given the honor to have my ass kicked in a race with this guy, lol!

  • thats a very very sexy corvette!!!

  • Dude, thats sweet.

  • Your Corvette is awesome! How much? lol, j/k.

  • now that sound nice

  • Do you have the glasspacks installed with the internal baffles opening towards the engine or away from the engine?

  • how long are your glass packs?

  • not saying nothing bad about the vette but my farts r louder than that

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY to quiet. Seems like all vettes are quiet though.

  • i saw a vette almost identical the other day on the highway.

  • Wait, is that a MA plate? Looks like we'll probably run into each other this summer!

    ROCK•ON

  • Thank you for this! It's pretty much exactly what we're doing to mine this winter, and I LOVE YOUR SOUND.

  • i might put Duals on My '83 LeSabre Custom But i need a battery first and my glasspacks welded on...

  • That sounds great man! What kind of headers and glasspacks? I have the same car and am looking for a similar sound.

  • Believe it or not it still has the stock manifolds on it. From there I cut the end of the Y pipe to make it a true dual exhaust, ran straight pipes all the way back w/ no cats, and then put two cherry bomb glasspacks in the back. Im going to be dropping a 383 stroker in soon, and I think Im going to switch to side pipes.
