I doubt Matt was in the bottom.

They just didn't want DialIdol to be correct again. They were 3 for 3 last week, and pretty much nailed a lot of the prior weeks.

I mean they knew who was going home, so whomever they put against Sarver was going to be fine. They could have put Anoop, Gokey, or Smokey up there with him.

Yeah...I can't believe Megan wasn't in the bottom 3...she had the worst performance! I like her quirky voice...but I think she really needs voice lessons to develop her style. Matt is awesome...I think he just got buried under all the great guys this season. Going 1st is tough.

i honestly think that matt was in the bottom two because the producers are starting to pimp him out. according to dialidol, there is no way that he could've been in the bottom. and his performance this week was one of his bests, so i mean its quite obvious that this was just the producers ploy to get people to vote for matt. next week, unless he complely messes up, he'll be one of the top vote getters.

I couldn't hear matts performance where I was at didn't get his audio at all . Maybe that is why he ended up in the bottom 3 other people had the same problem ?

The bottom 3 should have been Megan, Michael and Scott. Why they picked Matt is beyond me. I will not be surprised if next week Adam or Li hit the bottom 3. It's like a joke or something!!!

I think Scott is going next. He's good at playing the piano and he's a good singer, but everything he sings sounds the same! He's kind of boring. I would love to see him just playing the piano, because he's so good at it. But for some reason he just sounds kind of the same with all his songs.

Michael's "Aint Too Proud To Beg"was a lot better last night then Wednesday. But still, wasn't shocked he went home.

There's no way Matt will be the bottom again next week, even if he does terrible. This will make all of Matt's fans get off the couch and vote for him like crazy.

And Ryan really needs to stop tricking Kris into thinking he's in the Bottom 3 every week. The poor guy is going to have a heart attack.

Matt Giraud was the first one to perform on Wednesday, so I think that may have affected the number of votes he got. Even though they show each voting number again at the end of the two hours, it may have been a reason for that.

It seems that Kris feels threatened by Matt and he should be. He looked like he was ready to do a cartwheel when Matt was picked for the bottom three. They are both good singers, but come on Kris, show a little humility. And they are both hoping Adam doesn't make it to final three. Good luck to all three. I actually didn't like Matt's performance much. He didn't really deserve to be in the bottom 3, but I wasn't too surprised. He was great last week, but I was just bored by him yesterday, and actually forgot for a while that he was singing at all.

And FINALLY Michael left. I never really understood how he made it to the top 12 in the first place.

Of course it's produced, that's what American Idol is all about.

Manufactured, soul-less, bland and inexpressive.

I don't really like the whole manufactured approach that American Idol has but ladies take it for what it is.

A fast track coaching talent show.

You don't have to be so negative about everything.

Contructive yes, not destructive.

Although I'd have more respect for the show if it conentrated on writing and letting these contestants have their own flair.

My jaw dropped when they said Matt was in the bottom 3. Hopefully this will energize all those people that love Matt to get off their butts and vote for him. It worked for Allison. She was in the bottom 3 last week and this week people voted for her even though I think she turned in a better performance last week. Matt needs some kind of sad story to make the drones vote for him like they do Danny Gokey. People can't really think Gokey compares with Adam and Matt. Can they?

If you think about it, matt might not have been in the bottom 2. Whenever they tell the 3rd one to go back with the others, they never say that he/she was the 3rd lowest. Scott very well mightve been the second lowest, not Matt.

I'm not surprised they didn't save michael, maybe they would save matt at this point though, still surpising to see only guys at the bottom three as the girls (except alison) aren't really bringing it yet.
