Ok that sounds childish but lets look at something you are forgetting: LOANS. if you have loans but get expelled you have to pay them off WITHOUT a career salary. Everybody got all "active" for the Obama campaign, "Obama this, Obama that" - I even went to go see Michelle Obama give a speech in between classes in October. Hey if YOU can AFFORD to protest, by all means do so. Ok that sounds childish but lets look at something you are forgetting: LOANS. if you have loans but get expelled you have to pay them off WITHOUT a career salary. Not just loans either, some students are so inDEBTed to their college, that the fear of expulsion keep them from even voicing small valid complaints.
Also, college protests do NOT stop the issues that created them. Protesting brings awareness, policy brings change.

Right now everyone is trying to get by with their heads ducked down. A lot of college students have to WORK, give money back to their families, have families of their own to take care of and try to get a degree on top of that. We are surrounded by fear and worked until numb.
You should go tell this to the MINORITY of people who have the money to laze about (trust fund kids with reality shows) but do nothing for the world at large. Everyone else is too busy trying to stay afloat.
