Amazing. Normally when seeing something in animation moving as fast as Monstro, it makes you think that the something is relatively lightweight. But nope. You KNOW that Monstro weighs several tons, and that's all pure, raw POWER, bitch. O_O
I just found out that the legendary Thurl Ravenscroft did Monstro's roars and grunts. He was Tony the Tiger, Kirby from "Brave Little Toaster," and sang the Grinch song.
This is gorgeous animation. It's terrifying, beautiful, and filled with dread. It accomplished what was considered impossible for the time it was released.
why doesn't anyone ever consider monstro a villain? he's fucking TERRIFYING! O_O

Thurl Ravenscroft performed Monstro's very low lion-like voice.

Lets just pretend that Monstro is some species of toothed whale that's now extinct.

I think Monstro's roars between 1:12-1:15 and at 1:52 are the sound of unbridled rage!

I'm pretty sure that Monstro is a Sperm Whale
92af 5 months ago
@92af He is, but his mouth is anatomically incorrect for the species.
SalasSnake 5 months ago 5
@SalasSnake You forgot it has the belly of a blue whale and three different types of teeth (when usually toothed whales' are fang-like).

@SalasSnake That, and I do not believe whales can sneeze...unless Walt Disney saw a sneezing whale...
