Why did you apply that matterial only? If you use color tool and set it to zero alpha you get rid of the shadow to.

There is a better way... When you are going to make the jeep transparent you should just go to the color tool and turn the alpha to 0, it doesn't even matter what color it is... That way the jeep is completely invisible.
