  • You should do the cabbage/pee test for the sex of the baby. Everyone I know who used it, all had the right results. If the test indicated boy, then they had a boy, and vice versa. :)

  • Jofus whistling on the walk made my dog go nuts.

Positive blood type vides to Anna!

  • Jofus whistling on the walk made my dog go nuts :P

Sending + blood vibes to you!

  • Jofus whistling on the walk made my dog go nuts :P

  • Jofus whistling on the walk made my dog go nuts :P

  • Oooo You might have to get the Rogham shot. It sucks.

  • aww are you going to find out the gender before, i kinda like the idea of a surprise, but i guess you can get colour coordinating clothes and toys :D

  • I know of a saying that if you are having a boy your bump will be neat and you won't put on weight anywhere else but if you have a girl the bump is wider and you put on weight everywhere else :) Ever since I found out about this is has worked! :) x

  • I don't remember if Anna eats sushi or raw fish, but you're not supposed to eat raw fish when preggers. Cooked is OK. Well, at least that's what my doctor said :)

  • Have you thought about buying the Intelligender test? It's fun! It was right about the gender of my son! =]

  • LOL JOFUS! Im going to make you clean your room SOOO much!

  • Pancake Tuesday is the 21 of February this year :)

  • I'm not preggers and never have been but I know that you have to give a lot of blood during your pregnancy and your like a pin cushion :P haha. It sucks Anna but hang in there :) x

  • I draw blood....I am a Phlebotomist....17 years now. Very important to do that while you are pregnant.

  • You should use a needle and thread test.A popular gender predictor method is performed by using a needle and thread. First, you get a needle and thread it with a string or strand of hair. Then dangle it over the expectant mother's belly while she's lying down or over her wrist. If the needle swings in a circle then she is having a girl. It it moves back and forth then she's having a boy. I did it on my wrist and it was right and I had a friend do it, and it came out correct for her too!

  • When I use pita bread I cut the disk in half. It creates two half circle pockets that are perfect hand size and I don't need to worry about opening the pocket on one end. :)

  • anna well done on eating so well, you're being very responsibe.

  • The blood test was probably for checking your levels; I had low iron when pregnant with my son and needed to take supplements. Another poster was also correct about checking the blood for rejection - some women do not have a compatible blood type with the baby's fathers blood type (most times babys have their father's blood type, not their mothers) and they need to check that early on so if there is a problem they can give you medications to correct it. :) Hope you feel better soon Anna!

  • I only had one craving and i literally went through 2 bags of oranges a week, lol and i hate oranges, after the birth i haven't had 1 and before the pregnancy i never really ate them either i think its the vitamin c

  • LOL at jofus cleaning the toilet!! :)

  • Is it just me or is Anna coming off as not so excited about the pregnancy...

  • @SHELBY4EVERxoxo you've gotta remember she has a sore throat, cystic acne, she's been feeling nauseous, her hormones will be everywhere and she'll be tired all the time too. i think she's excited but it's probably hard to be all YAYAYAYAY and jump around all the time when you feel that ill! xx

  • @SHELBY4EVERxoxo She just has not been well and im thinking her pimples are upsetting her , i know your not trying to be rude , But they say the first trimester isn't the most pleasant. :)

  • ich really like your hair this wavy anna :D it looks very pretty <3

  • The acne could be made worse by your hormones fluctuating from the pregnancy. :) Kinda like when it goes around your monthly menstrual cycle. I hope you feel better. Your voice definitely sounds strained. If you are actually getting sick it could be irritating your throat. My sister is due February 25th and the first 5 months she was violently ill with morning sickness, but it was called hyperemissis gravidarum. She lost 50 lb in that 5 months. Once she got on zofran though she and the baby grew

  • jofus i think you should take a pic of her belly every day until the baby is born and then put it all together in a video and it could show how the belly develops....just sayin i think it would b cool since u do a great job putting videos together!!

  • I didn't mean for my comment to sound rude, by the way. Lol - hope you didn't take it that way!

  • You are having a girl! Girls suck the beauty out of their mothers.

  • Congrats guys! And to start the tip train off now, Anna may I suggest starting to use a cream on your belly NOW before you start showing so you can prevent stretch marks early. If you already are doing that, ignore me lol

  • Anna, I am not sure but you said you two were going to Italy in June, are you going by plane because I heard that you could not fly after a certain point in your pregnancy, I think it is the third trimester!

  • It is on February 12th

  • @Sonia214 sorry i mean the 21st

  • I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you guys doing daily Vlogs. I couldn't imagine being judged for every tiny little thing I do!! So, I just wanted you guys to know, MOST of us that watch, love and appreciate you guys so much!!!! Oh, and congrats, btw!!!!

  • really pleased for you guys, definitely blood work is important at this time, i had opposite blood type to my daughter and had to have regular shots..ouch

  • my mum always does the ring test on people.. and shes always been right!

  • the pizza writing could easily be mistaken for sina lol. i had to pause

  • I love the tesco in wilton!

  • for a sec i thought you were driving lol

  • i hate looking at the comments but i like to write one... they are just depressing. I hope you guys do that 'comment pending approval' if its not too much of a hassle :)

  • i LOVE when people refer to 'the baby's heartbeat'.. its like "oh my gosh, there's actually another life inside of you!"

  • Your accent of the pizza box cartoon was hilarious Jofus

  • I really think its going to be a boy! x

  • can you always do something specials on mondays :) to make every monday funday?

  • HOLY EFF hehehehehehehe! When you started asking the dogs if they wanted to go on a walkies, my maltese started FREAKING OUT ahahahahahhaa

  • @macmacmac81 It's funny. You must have A LOT of spare time and nothing to do because I see hater comments from you on almost every video.

  • im in tesco everyday nearly as its across from my work. i love your vlogs so much yet i still think id be one of those people like OMG SHE IS FILMING IN TESCO. its like 2 differnt aspects i suppose :D

  • the chinese gender thing told me i was having a boy and i had a girl so i didnt bother with the rest lol

  • Feb 21st is pancake day :)

  • Anna you have to give blood at the start of pregnancy to 1st check your blood group,Rh,Antibodies,V.D.R.I, Rubella and mostly to see if you have any diseases ie HIV,DRI,HEP B.. ETC..U will understand when you receive your OBSTETRIC CARD from CUH it will all be stated on that..Hope thats helps!

  • does the pizza box say Sina?

  • It's amazing that people can see into the future and discuss how good Anna and Jofus will be as parents! You guys have a gift. Because personally, although I'm pretty sure they will be good parents, the proof will be in the pudding when they raise a perfectly healthy child in a financially stable environment even if Anna hasn't learnt to drive and Jofus sometimes plays video games :O God forbid!! Hope you start feeling better soon Anna <3 x

  • @sunbeamsjess oh i couldn't agree more! and look at how much loving family they have around them! people need to stop assuming what makes someone a good parent. personally, i would love to have jofus and anna as parents! (although mine are good too lol)

  • Mamma Style Diet singing "Off to tesco we go today" Made my day! YAya!

  • February 21 is the day before Ash Wednesday so I assume that's what Anna means. I've always heard it called Fat Tuesday.

  • Fat Tuesday?

  • i hope u get feeling better anna!!

  • driving is super easy once you get used to it. don't be scared!

  • And another thing about them always eating at MamaStyleDiets, u dont know if MamaStyleDiet insist they come for dinner! Trust me my family is from Ireland anx they insist that u eat or take food home with u! They dont take no for an answer lol!

  • @macmacmac81 ever thought of changing your name to twattwattwat81?

  • I reckon most of the people on here giving "advice" have absolutely no idea what they're talking about...

NO ONE, regardless of pregnancy, should have tuna more then 2 or 3 times a week...

There are alot of scaremongerers on here....

  • Wow everyone needs to get off Anna for not driving its not a big deal! Driving is so dangerous and getting ur license in Ireland is a pain,so i dont blame Anna for not wanting to drive its scary! it scares the crap out of me so i try to drive as less as possible! Also about MamaStyleDiet going to the doctor with Anna whats the big deal!?! Thats her daughter who is carrying her grandchild im sure shes so excited to be there!

  • Why doesnt your TV have a remote control?

  • What's your religion?

  • If the bump is low, old wives tale says it's a boy.. My old history teachers bump was low, and she had a boy.. Also, if you have really bad heartburn throughout, its meant to mean the baby will have loads of hair!

  • Does America Have Pancake Tuesday?

Ive never heard of it that's why.

  • Your desktop XPS should of come with a standard dell keyboard and mouse? And that one you are using at the moment isn't a dell one, so you have another mouse kicking around somewhere (:

  • Jonathan lol... "nutritious advice"????? the advice is not nutritious! you should say "nutrition advice" or "advice on nutrition" omg jonathan ur cray cray!!!

  • pancake tuesday: feb 21 ^^

  • I may be on the wrong video, but Jofus, how dare you get onto Mama Style Diet for eating your Hob Nobs!!!! A guest should be able to eat anything and no comment made, even if they want to eat the "dining room table" (from To Kill a Mockingbird). Mama Style Diet spends alot on you both and pays for alot...how embarrassing to make her feel bad! A bit spanking for you. LOL I had to get on you for that!!! (in fun)

  • Anna, get used to people telling you get more proactive about anything from your transportation, to your medical care, to planning for the financial future of your family. You seem a bit passive and dependent. But perhaps you really just feel like sh*t. My sister suffered from a severe form of morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum) that lasted 9 months and put her in the hospital several times for supplemental feeding. So sometimes passivity and over-dependence is warranted. Be brave girl!

  • there are pee tests to know the genre of your baby, Sam Schuerman took one... they are sold next to the pregnancy tests

  • i did the chinese one it said id have a boy and i had a girll! apprantly if you get really ill its a girl and i was really ill!

  • I was shouting at the screen "The dill is with the fruit and veg!!!!!" Lmao :)

  • hello mister jeremy mckinnon number 2

  • Pancake day is February 21st! Which means leant starts 2 days before my 18th birthday... i'm giving up chocolate. No chocolate on my birthday - what?!

  • That cucumber looked like a zucchini, is that what its called in Ireland?

  • @evelsea I'm actually english but I'm pretty sure what you call zucchini we call courgette and a cucumber is similar to courgette but you don't cook it and its longer and thinner. I hope that helped, You can google images if you want!

  • @lizzletheweezle i was trying to reply and i couldnt think what we called it lol! the best i came up with is cucumber is cucumber lol!!

  • @evelsea no cucumber is cucumber :)

  • @evelsea lol you're right and no there is a difference here in Ireland I think not that I would notice! Do they taste the same?!

  • @macmacmac81 wtf?

  • @macmacmac81 LMFAO WTF?

  • @macmacmac81 What are you talking about she didn't get a shot she had her bloods done? No harm can come from this, it is precautionary and normally yes you do do something if you trust your doctor. She said, correctly, that it is to test her blood type (incase she rejects her own baby/future babies) you're very presumptuous saying she had no idea, I'm sure it was explained to her. Calling her lazy is just plain bitchy. This comment was clearly made out of dislike for Anna, so just go away please

  • @macmacmac81 Do you want to get hit by a car? Shut the fuck up you little jerk.

  • Im Pretty Sure Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday is on the 21st :)

  • Anna you should use thebump.com

It gives you a countdown and check list and info on what to do and not to do

  • I know how to drive and once upon a time I was married, then my husband drove everywhere, he liked to drive and didn't like to be the passenger. I miss those days of someone driving me around, but I don't miss him!

  • @evelsea haha absolutely brilliant post! lol xo

  • it's too early to do the gender tests. do it a couple of days before you actually find out what you are having.

  • i think itll be a girl :)

  • Some foods can be harmful Anna, taking advice from your health service is the only way to know what, and what not, to eat during your pregnancy. I'm sure you will be given more than enough advice so don't let what others have to say overwhelm you. My daughter spent pounds on books and at the end of the day the best books she got were at the library. A happy calm and anxiety free Mummy is best for baby during pregnancy. Congratulations Big Hugs Margaret x x

  • Why does Anna have to go with her mummy to the doctors all the time?! I would want Abit of privacy! I thought it was strange having you mum cook for you most nights.. Maybe it's just me?

  • really annoying when he says "soupy soup".. haha is it just me?

  • Why cant anna go to the doctor by herself of take her husband instead of you mom all the time?

  • Mrs. Anna , Acne or No Acne , Your Beautiful ANYWAY!!!

  • Loved the vlog! Commenting now that I'm home because the hospital wireless sucked today..... it took an hour to watch the video. Love ya both. CHEERS!

  • i might just be bitter, but i think this vlog highlights the unfairness of pregnancy and procreation - anna day-to-day life changes dramatically, while jofus plays video games and has a little more chores to do.

i think i won't have kids just on principle. lol

  • @WhearTheChange lol unfortunately its what we women are made for lol men are the hunters hahah

  • @WhearTheChange Maybe a bit bitter ;) Just kidding! Seriously though I was one of those freaky chicks who enjoyed being pregnant. Well when I was pass all my morning sickness. And shockingly pregnancy wasn't that horrible symptom wise. And I could seriously watch my belly for hours. You could see them moving around..it would look like an alien was in there. So I guess all that made me realize the changes weren't a big deal at all.

  • I feel like if Anna asked Jonathan to go with her in these doctor appointment he definitely would. It seems like Anna doesn't want him to go and would rather take her mom. Which is fine, to each their own

  • In the US Pancake Tuesday is also known as Fat Tuesday.

  • @dogEmom2 thats awesome! in that case i love fat tuesday lol!

  • I understand what everyone is saying about Anna learning to drive... but they both work from home, and are always together, therefore Jonathan will always be there in case Anna needs to go anywhere. It would just be another expense if she learnt to drive and an unnecessary one at that.

  • @flipflop968 you should never have to depend on someone your whole life. also what if an emergency pops up! its defiantly not unnecessary, you never know what will happen in the future. so its better to be prepared. What if they want another car down the road?

  • @fifithedog100 Having a license doesn't make you independant, it's just handy. We will always rely on people... whether its the lollipop lady crossing our children or the bank handling our money.

Yes your right you never know what will happen in the future...so in that case I'll spend the rest of my days wearing a helmet incase I bump my head and carry a backpack with my belongings incase my house burns down.

  • @flipflop968 i wouldn't want to be constantly asking for someone to take me here and there, ya you rely on people, but you cant always rely on people, because sometimes they fuck you over lol, and wtf? that has nothing to do with it, she might as well get it done...? its not that hard lol

  • @fifithedog100 I cant take people seriously when they start swearing... I tend to switch off.

  • @flipflop968 ...........

  • @flipflop968 i get that they are always home and together but you cant ALWAYS expect jonathan to be there..things change..life changes..there WILL be a time that they wont be together and if it were me i would feel more comfortable knowing how to drive..but thats her choice so if people are curious, cool...but if she says no..people should take it and shut up..ha

  • @flipflop968 agreed when I was in Japan my host family only had one car and my host mom couldn't drive. A lot of people don't know how to drive it's not that big of a deal

  • @fallenangelforever Exactly it's not a big deal. I don't think people realize how expensive it is to learn to drive these days.. then she'll need insurance. With a baby coming along, they'll need to save as much money as they can.

  • @flipflop968 But with driving comes independence. There have been times when Jonathan can't drive her. Either way, it's up to her, but for me, I like driving and the freedom it gives me!

  • @flipflop968 you are never ALWAYS with someone. You don't know what could happen at any time. It's not a huge expense at all. Safety is the most important thing.

  • Pancake day is the 21st of feb :)

  • anna is sooo lucky i wish my hubby would offer to clean the bathroom just 1 time...

  • Bahah the Italian guy on the pizza with an Indian accent. You make my day haha

  • 1:53 Minecraft! FTW!

  • Comment removed

  • Take care guys. Love you!!

  • So happy for you!!!

  • @macmacmac81 I dont think its your place to say things like that, Sometimes a girl wants her mum there for things like that.

  • @macmacmac81 Calm down... Anna was going to a routine appointment with her mom. Ever think maybe she wants to go with her mom? And he wasn't just playing video games, he did some cleaning. But regardless, parents can have fun too. Let them live their lives.

  • @macmacmac81 He did step up. He cleaned the toilet for her and also vacuumed for her. He also went to the store in yesterdays vlog to get her stuff with ginger to help her with her morning sickness and brought her food while she was in bed so he does more then just playing video games.

  • not that you shouldn't help out with the household chores, but just because Anna is pregnant it does not mean she can't do housework. But, it is very nice that you are helping:)

  • Pancake Day is on the 21st of February!!! I can't wait :)

  • I'd say it's going to be a girl by the symtoms Anna said at the beggining of the vlog.

  • Seems like everyone is an expert huh? Just read that the us FDA suggests pregnant women can eat salmon 2x a week, it's low in mercury. Tuna is on the never eat list though. And why would Jofus go look for a job? He has one. It's called YouTube. So many judgmental peeps today.

  • @tammimarie Not enough views to qualify as a real paycheck. Why do you think people like JuicyTuesday and Makeupbymel and many others who have way more views still work?

  • @candyfrogzz sorry, I didn't realize you were Anna and Jonathan's accountant!

  • @tammimarie that's not what the FDA website says.. if you're gonna quote the website you should just post what the website says directly so that nothing is misconstrued.

Eat up to 12 ounces (2 average meals) a week of a variety of fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury.

Five of the most commonly eaten fish that are low in mercury are shrimp, canned light tuna, salmon, pollock, and catfish.

  • @tammimarie Another commonly eaten fish, albacore ("white") tuna has more mercury than canned light tuna. So, when choosing your two meals of fish and shellfish, you may eat up to 6 ounces (one average meal) of albacore tuna per week

  • @dbritton41 yep I didn't see the part about canned tuna because it wasn't in the list on the website I saw (it was in a separate paragraph above it). good to know, even people who aren't pregnant shouldn't eat too much of canned tuna, which is why myself try to eat it no more than twice a week. I didn't realize that other forms of tuna have more mercury. We often eat tuna 'steaks'. Very strange.

  • @tammimarie that's the article from the FDA where I got the info I posted>>> 2004 EPA and FDA Advice For:

    Women Who Might Become Pregnant

    Women Who are Pregnant

    Nursing Mothers

    Young Children

  • OMG my dog LOVES wonkychomps! so much that she knows the word! We have to call them WCs, which sort of makes them sound like a toilet lol, so she doesn't know what we mean. She'll probably learn that soon as well, she learns words so quickly for a dog!x

  • Guys, I am very veery happy for u getting the babyyyy :)) I also adore your dogs (have an yorkie myself) However I just wanted to let u know that now u should be slightly more careful with the hygiene of Albi n Sina (e.g. when letting them in the house after a walkie, make sure u every time wash their paws) especially when Anna is playing with them. Same after the baby comes :)Probably you are aware of that but just noticed how they get into the house without being washed n thought 'bout this :)

  • Oh anna.... u didnt make the salmon :/ haha

  • @JTMINI21 Public transport is amazing these days not everyone needs to learn how to drive =/

  • Comment removed

  • @Sandie321p I understand that but from the looks of all their vlogs they do drive an awful lot so the logical thing would be for her to learn to drive so she isn't always depending oh Jonathon or her mother!

  • @Sandie321p Yes public transport is much better these days but sometimes it may not be good enough. I swallowed a big coin by mistake when I was very young (yes, stupid, but kids will be kids). My mother wasn't even thinking of waiting on SOMEONE ELSE to get me, her own child, to the hospital. She drove me there herself in a jiffy. Had she waited for someone else, I doubt I would have been here today.

  • @nicolerenee7 Oh, let me add that the coin settled in my throat in the worst possible way.

  • They told me when I was pregnant to stay away from fish because of the mercury levels in fish and shell fish can be dangerous. Not to scare anyone, just saying.

  • Could you do a britney spears dont let me be the last to know hair and makeup tutorial plz?

  • Anna should definatly learn to drive now before she gets really far into her pregnancy, she needs it if ever in an emergency!! and you definatly need it for having a baby!!

  • I don't think you can eat salmon when your pregnant

  • @belleke18 i agree with you , not big fishes allowed...... cause of mercury

  • @candyfrogzz there's always one person who thinks they know everyone's life story...get away for god's sake, jofus can play video games if he wants to, it's his life and not yours? he's going to be a fantastic parent, him and anna!<3

  • Omgosh, my 11 year old calls me in his room every 5 secs to show me what he has done on Minecraft. We were so sad that MineCon was sold out when we went to purchase the tickets. <3

  • Anna- Try the fruit & veg aisle for dill. They have tons of fresh herbs there at Mr Tescos (other supermarkets are also available! ;) Lol ) x

  • anna, lucky you that u can eat normally, when i was pregnant i felt sick all the time, i couldnt eat NOTHING.

  • i think you both will be fantastic parents and im happy for you both and no anna does not have to drive if she dont want to i dont see why people have to nit pick every thing anna and jofus do this baby is there resposibilty not yours

  • @kiahixxie18 Thank you! I completely agree. I love how everyone thinks they're experts when comes to analyzing others, especially when they've never been through any of it! I'd like to watch them being criticized for every little thing they do and see whether they like it or not. No one is perfect. Advice is advice. Give it with a smile but know your boundaries.

  • Oh guys you should do a count down to the baby, like you did for the wedding! :) Lol all the bestests! :) xoxo

  • jonathan, you should get a wireless mouse. a laser one, not optical, coz then you can use it on any surface. If you get one with a good range, you can sit on the sofa while using it. and then get a wireless keyboard too :D

  • what the heck is a plaster???

  • @kissesandcake Google images it

  • @kissesandcake Bandaid x

  • @kissesandcake Maybe thats what they call a Band-Aid in Ireland

  • @kissesandcake band aid.
