I am brazilian, and I am simply impressed with what Fidel Castro has done. Do not look at who he is, or what he has done, let's look at numbers. 99.9% of the cubans are all literate, they're second only to Georgia (100%) at that, and his promises made at 1959 (New York) were all fulfilled. Say what you will, but I stil think Fidel Castro was one of the best rulers there ever was, and it will probably take a hundred years for there to be a leader as great as him. cuba's standard of living is a lot higher than that of Puerto Rico and that's without the US occupation of the island. I've been to cuba many times and honestly living there is a lot better than living in Puerto Rico. The educaction is a lot better crime is a lot lower than that of PR and health care is reacheable by everybody unlike in PR. My beloved island of PR is filled with drugs crime and a bunch of people that just want to collect welfare and unemploymenta and foodstamps
