Great playing, very clean chops. The only advise I have is getting something other than a solid state amp, because your Line 6 totally sterilizes your upgraded pickups.
@pivotgodxd Solid State amps have static type of tone which means they all tend to sound the same no matter what amp they are, who is using it, or what guitar is plugged in. There's a reason why most people dis solid state amps. I'd imagine you're familiar with this phenomena.
What does Dimebag have to do with the properties of amplifiers? Does he know anything about electronic amplifiers or integrated circuits? He's a good shredder, but a poor audiophile. Subjectively speaking.
@BritaniaRuleAgain He had a unique tone and was quite high in Guitarworld's "100 greatest guitar tones of all time" I was just saying that although lots of solid state amps do sound terrible, with the right one you can get an amazing tone. Just like Dimebag did.
@pivotgodxd If I recall correctly, Dimebag tended to use Krank, tube amplifiers. The Krankenstien was all tube powered. The only thing solid-state he used, from what I've researched, were his effects chains, and wet/dry setups, which involved his tube powered amps anyway.
I've played the 2010 Dime Amplification, Dimebag amp head before, and it sounded a lot like a cheap Line 6 Spider combo. It also had significantly less volume than my 50 Watt, tube, Marshall amp.
@BritaniaRuleAgain For most of his guitar playing in Pantera and before, he used a Randall solid state amp. The Krankenstein came about just before he entered Damageplan. His tone hasn't really changed though, which shows that some solid state amps can sound like tube amps.
@pivotgodxd I've never dug Pantera, I know you think his Solid State rig sounded nice, props to you.
I honestly hate the way transistor amps sound, I don't care how many knobs they have. I've found they all for the most part sound thin, sterile, small, & irritating. I don't mean to beat you up or anything, but Dimebag was by no means the greatest ever. It's okay you like him, but a lot of people really did not.
If you dig solid state, use it. If you're an audiophiles, you probably will not.
@BritaniaRuleAgain Many people loved his sound and playing. I am an audiophile anyway. I have a MESA Dual Rectifier and it is the best thing ever. It's all about what sound you are looking for personally and Dime liked the Randall tone just as I liked the MESA, or Satch liked Peavey.
@pivotgodxd Sound is indeed subjective in itself. Tone is to each his own. I personally didn't enjoy any solid state amp I've ever tried. I especially think the amp in the video sounds bad lol.
I'm not a fan of Dimebag, but you are. Stay proud of it bro, and keep doing what you do. Although we disagree on amps, we both love guitars and legends who played them.
@winster626 nahh, the shape might look uncomfortable, but the way he plays it right now is actually a natural way you will place it when you feel guitar
@nikolaishrederguy I was actually thinking about doing Rainbow in the Dark soon! My next video though is going to be Bad Reputation (full song) by Thin Lizzy and it will probably be out in 2 days!!

@BritaniaRuleAgain True. If everyone had the same tastes in tone then the world of guitars would be so much more dull. Keep up the playing!
