Totally support this statement! I wonder what role will he play in Taiping Rebellion (giving that it's a Heterodox Christian movement) when the rebels storm into the city? Or maybe he will just leave the city.

If I am not mistaken, 白朗大夫 is able to provide shelter and protetion to the 蔣 family after the Tai Pings entered the city since he and the Tai Ping are christian brothers in arms.

But the preview clip for episode 21-25 does not show 白朗大夫 at all. Instead 彭鏗 will be elected as Marshall of 無錫 and will be all powerful with 柴九 as his deputy. And 蔣 family seemed to get into some troubles with the Tai Ping General.
